~Narniagirl's Prayer Challenge~
Well Narniagirl has started a prayer challenge. Pretty much you choose one country (or two!) and you pray for that country for 20 days. You can pray for any country you want. Here's a few of the things you can pray for:
God's Word to reach the people
The people to except it
False religions to fail
Any important wars
The leaders
Salvation of the people
And anything else you'd like!
If you'd like to read more about it click on the picture below

I am praying for Laos. I read about it in my World Magazine and it sounds pretty sad. It is one of the last communist states and one of the the poorest countries in Southeast Asia. Only about 3% of the population are Christians and the state encourages Buddhism. Christians are being asked to sign papers renouncing their faith and not to share their faith anymore. Christians who refuse to do this are tortured, murdered or jailed. One of the pastors who was jailed led five other prisoners to Christ. I thought this was really sad and really neat. You can read the first portion of the article HERE at the World Magazine website. I am going to praying that:
The world continues to fight the war against communism.
That the Word would continue to spread and that the people would hear it and accept it.
That the believers who are being persecuted would continue to fight for God.
That the leaders of the country would discontinue the persecution and torture.
That the people realize that Buddhism is not the way to go.
That the people would not give up hope in spite of their poverty.
If you would like to join this prayer challenge please click on the picture above or go HERE to read more about it. Then leave a comment on Narniagirl's most recent post telling her what country you are praying for, I'm sure she would love it if you joined (and I would too)!
I will also be working on my RecycledTemplates blog, go check it out if you want!

Yeah my sister is doing better, she had the baby and she is doing good, but the baby is not having a desire to eat so they have to feed him by putting a tube down his throat, and he still hasnt come out of the hospital yet. Sorry I havent been informing everybody about that, its just that I have been really busy!

I will eventually get something going. I can't figure out what kind of contest I would want, though.
I am open to suggestions.

Hey Jo ~
I am glad you are doing the Prayer Challenge! I've never heard of Laos but it sounds like it definitely does need some prayer; you made a great choice! Did you sign the Mr. Linky on the post?
America could use some prayer, also. :)

That is a really good thing that you all are doing! That is sad about that one country you mentioned...actually it is terrible!
Great work to all of you who are doing this. I am not going to sign up to do this, but I think I might do it anyway.

Hey!
Aw, thanks! I'm glad to be back. In honor of coming back to land of templates-I-can-actually-figure-out, I did the flower template. I wanted something happy. :-)
Yeah, Blogger templates are tough. It's supposed to be so easy; just download a template file and then upload it to your Blogger account, and voila! Not. All but two of the templates I tried doing that with didn't work - the templates have to be *perfectly* made.
I'll check out RecycledTemplates! :-)

Becca
