A Pondering Heart

Nov. 30, 2006 - Fourth of July Part VI

July 1st 1874

Oh, a gathering for the fourth of July, which is the day the United Sates Congress all signed the Declaration Of Independence, which was written by Tomas Jefferson. I quite enjoy history. Jed and I are going to the gathering. The Wilson’s are hosting it. Mr. Wilson is the College’s President, whom Jed works under. Mrs. Wilson has asked my opinion on several things and I was honored to be of assistance.

Emily and Mr. White are inviting and going too. Jed looks so handsome in his suit. He had it especially made for the party. I don’t know what I’m going to wear quite yet. I have so many lovely dresses. I look relatively elegant in greens and blues. Oh, dear, I am getting ahead of myself. It’s only the first. They still have three more days. I will try to write before then but Emily is going to be here everyday this week. I will be busy.

Mother and Father have been absent for a few days now and I am getting lonesome without them. Perhaps once day I will write how Jed and I met and you will observe how Mother and Father neglect me when they took visits. So much has changed since then, which I am thankful for. The Lord is good.

I'm sure that yours is much better than mine right now. Haha. Mine needs a LOT of editing, and I think that will take awhile. It's sort of a fairy tale story about a royal family. The oldest daughter is 15. I think it will be awhile before I let anyone read it, but we'll see. :-)

Alatariel,
Yes, I heard that Peter Jackson wasn't doing The Hobbit...some legal complications or something like that. Honestely, I'd rather not have the movie exist if he's not directing it. I can see somebody completely messing it up...

Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while, we're at our grandparents house in CT. We're leaving tonight, though. But even when we get home I'll be really busy catching up on school and stuff.

Talk to you soon! No galu govad gen!

Have you heard about the guy Christopher Paolini. He wrote the new book that has been on the top sellers list for 80 months now. The book is "Eragon"... He also stated on Good Morning America the he was a homeschooled child.(speaks good for all of us) That's why he was able to devote all his time into writing which was his passion. Let me know what you think...Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year...2007
