Those are such great pictures!!! Lucy is a doll!!
We've been working in our garden a lot, too. And we got our chicks a little more than a week ago, so we're pretty busy with them.
Well, I have laundry stuff to do. TTYL!!

Hi Jocelyn, thank you for your comment. We did have a really nice time on our little "vacation." Now I'll be leaving for the mission trip in just a few days!
Hope you have a great week.

Hey, that is so neat that you have a garden! We used to have a garden, but it is hard to have one in Pheonix AZ, because the sun burns everything up. :(

| Hey little Lucy kind of favors a hobbit I know...don't you love playing in the dirt. Wait til you start working on car engines...now that's some great fun...love all that greasy gunk and taking apart everything. Your family has some really nice hoosier soil...our bluegrass soil is very rocky and not good for planting. My hubby and daughter love gardening but we need to get $$ saved for making some raised beds before we can plant a garden. I personally would like to build a greenhouse so I can plant all year long and have a fresh herb garden. Nuf said! Cute hobbity toes... |

Dear Jocelyn,
I like my template, too, though I wish I could fit some purple in there somewhere (my favorite color). I'm glad you like it so much! Do you think the red goes with the brown?
WOW...Amanda/SuperAngel thought I was that old? I find that a bit difficult to believe - though a lot of people have told me I'm mature for my age. Thank you for the compliment!
Yes, Mom is doing well - she actually went to the doctor today to get a different bandage - this one is more light-weight and sort of looks like a sock. So far the recovery's gone well, though more prayer always helps.
Your welcome for telling you about the title - it wasn't that important but I thought you might like to know.
And as for what state I live in - I'm not allowed to say. I'm very sorry! I hope you won't be offended.
Did you see the picture of our kitten?
With love,
~Kylie (aka NG)
EDIT: Looking forward to that post on Thursday!

You didn’t have to wait long – I’m back now! We were just really busy last week and over the weekend. My grandparents were staying at our house, and my sister graduated from high school and had a party.
Those are great pics! I’m glad you finally got to work on your garden. I’ve been meaning to post some updated pics of ours. It’s funny how life gets in the way of these things.
Love,
Mandy

Lol, sounds like something I would say "Stupid people do stupid things" ;)
Is that Liver Sausage or Liver? Never had liver with mushrooms, it sounds good though. I've only had it with onions. Yes! Yum!

That is so cool! We used to grow peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, and some other stuff. That'd be cool to have such a big garden. That pic of you and your brother is soo cute! You're lovely. :)
And little Lucy is a little cutie wootie!!! She looks so happy.

What a great picture of you and Caleb-- and he is a cutie-patootie for sure! :-)
That, my dear, is a mongo garden. If/when I finally get around to having one myself (which I "plan" on every single year but never get around too), it will be on a much smaller scale. But I would plant green beans, squash, watermelon, pumpkins (the giant ones just because they're fun), cucumbers and new potatoes. I have no idea if the new potatoes would do well here, but it doesn't hurt to try, right?
Okay, now I'm hungry.
By the way, how's the cloak coming along or are you just starting? I would love to have a cloak...I'll have to add that to my ever growing list of things to do!

Thank you so much for working on my template! I can wait as long as I need to, no rush at all.
As for the pictures, SO COOL! I love it when people post pictures! How big is your land? It looks as though you live on a pretty fair sized lot. And the pics of your little sis are SO CUTE! I also like the one of you and Caleb.
Love,
~Nikki |

It sounds like you had a lot of fun while doing your gardening! I have always loved to garden, it's just the weeding I don't like!

Thank you for your kind comments about the nature journaling workshop. I'm glad you are inspired. I can't wait until you draw your raspberry bush. I, too, am waiting to draw and photograph some beautiful berries. Elizabeth says her brown Nubian is a little darker than yours and has no white patches on his cheeks.
Blessings,
Jill & Elizabeth |

I think our families all-time favorite thing to plant is Armenian Cucumbers, man those things can get long! They tasted wonderful to!

I so wish we had a garden big enough to grow things in! We have had an offer of being able to share a piece of land with some friends - so we might, eventually be able to grow our own veggies! It is something that I really miss - every weekend when we were younger, my little sis and I used to help our grandparents on their smallholding (either planting or pulling veggies or collecting eggs from their huge flock of chickens!).
