I may do a post like this. :-) You're doing a good job being industrious. There is no trait so un-feminine as laziness - and you have certainly shown yourself to be on the way to achieving Proverbs 31. Keep up the good work.

I am not good with crafts/hands-on stuff!! I rarely even start them...props to you for doing the hope chest and the cloaks!!

Very good goals. I will have to think about mine, then maybe I'll do a post on them.

hello and I hope you're doing well...don't let all the trials and distractions get in the way of completing your goals, they're very important. I love the fairy blog and actually have something you might want to add to it...I'll have to send you the code for it...if you go to my blog and mouse over the links you'll see what I'm talking about. I think they would be perfect as Pixie Dust...Keep up the good work and CONGRATS on being in the Girlhood Home Companion; Mrs. Novak mentioned on the phone that she is very anxious to get it done on time and I'm sure she will. I have the Spring issue and can't wait to get the Fall issue and read your articles; they'd have to be wonderful since all your other work is so delightful! Nancy

You are most very welcome, Jocelyn! And it's not that I needed to, I just wanted to... Just because I like you. :-)

Ze very talented Brielle is visiting? I'm sure y'all will have a great time together. Definitely be sure to do all your sewing while she's there-- it'll be much easier that way!

Marsha

PS A little embroidery floss, one of those hoops and you could easily do some very nice stitching by hand! The simpler the better!

and it goes about the fourth line down from the top...where it says <style type="text/css"> all you do is add this code:

a:hover {background:URL('http://www.woodrome.com/garden06/images/sparklebackground.gif'); text-decoration: none}

You're welcome...I guess you wanted it if not then someone else might want to use it. Nancy

Amanda/Superangel, on her blog, had some of her drawings up. They were excellent and she said you were an outstanding artist. I was wondering if you posted your drawings somewhere.

Hmm, less of a loser, huh?
LOL...

Ah, those are very good goals!
Especially, "Start my own online business for web design and graphics."

It's very important to be thinking about our financial futures! If you could get some kind of business going now then you may not have to waste time starting one in the future. Now, is the time to start one! Now, is before we (as "young adults") are paying big expenses such as, electricity, payments on our houses, payments on our cars, food, and so on)

Do you really want to waste time struggling financially? No, not for me. If I can generate a steady income before I leave home than I won’t have to worry about getting one when things are tough.

And there is no better way than doing it over the internet! Especially if you can make some kind of business that requires very little work such as a high traffic site that you can sell ad space on. If you spend the time now to build a site that people will WANT to go to, than you can sell lets say 20 ad spots at $70/month (very reasonable) you'll have $1400/month coming in and your not even wasting time to go out to make it! Once you spend the time to put the site up, it's up! And it'll just continue to make you money! Now, $1400/month isn't a whole lot but it's a start!

So, good thinking! Get a site soon! There is no limit to what you can do with your very own website!

Anyhow, sorry to bore you with my long annoying comment. That is just one of my goals.
:D

Have a great day and thanks for wasting time to read my comment when you could have been starting a site! Haha…

I am fine. It would be fun quote "if I ever get over to your state, I will call you and see if we can meet! That would be fun, huh!" it would be very fun!
You are by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met! I am afraid that 'I' do not deserve 'you'.

I read you post!(s) Yes I highly agree with everyone else, your goals are most wonderful and Godly. Your long time(or however you put it) goals were most pleasing and interesting. I would but follow them myself! You are quite right in your words "It isn't good to waste your Summer days in laziness (I know those aren't your real words but...) and I am afraid that I have not been quite active.

Can you believe it? I am such a silly person. Presently I am
writing more than 2 short-stories! One you know of and others for something else. Ah! now that we're on the subject, what is your novel that you completed over two years and are wanting to get published called? I would like (if it does get published) to look it up at Borders or some other book store etc.

It has been a privlage conversing with you.
Have a happy Summer!
I hope you complete your goals to a satisfactory point.
With many regards,
Miss Corn

Keep up the goal-making! Having goals is such a wonderful way to keep ourselves alive! I love making goals and even if I don't complete them all, it is terrific to have them to begin with. We goal-makers have a hope for our future! Good for you avoiding the lazy days of Summer. Go get 'em girl!!!!

Great goals I really need to get back to setting and completing goals instead of taking each day as it comes and hoping I get something accomplished. Also your web design is beautiful, do you have any tips for mine?

Those are some really cool goals. One of mine is to publish my book Dragon Tamer (those chapters I've been posting are from Dragon Tamer), and the rest in the series. There are 5 books total in the series, and I'm almost finished with the first book. wooo! One of my friends told me something about needing an agent before publishing, but I have no idea where you find agents...

I love that fairy template, it's really pretty!

Hey, thanks for stopping by! I think I should put two sidebars on my test blog too... with lots o' blinkies! LOL!

That's funny, I was wanting to start a web design business too! I have to get better though, I just bought a software where you can make banners (which explains my test blog's and Delaine's header).

Hobble for Goats $6.20. Almost everyone has that one goat that just won't stand still for milking, ...for small or regular size goats. Look under milking supplies, I think is where I saw it.
If I had your address I'd buy and send it to you myself!

Hello yourself! ;)

I left a comment on your homestead blog, and also on Designing from the Shire...

Nice new avatar!

Those are some very good goals. That would be fun to start a website for graphics and web design. I have a blog for that, the username's BlogTips.

I'm working on another post, by the way.

Hope you are doing well! How is Lucy Lillie?

Love,
Kylie
