Alright that was funny in it;s own way! Kinda! I was so surprised when you said you were leaving. I was like "No not Jocelyn" I kept on telling myself she must have a good reason. lol That was a great joke!!! Oh, I did notice it was under Hobbit Mischief but I was too surprised to put two and two together! I am glad you are back lol and hope you keep on providing encouragement to all! I seen it under Hobbit Mischief but I just thought you mabey didn't mean it because your post was sincere (or so I thought) but when I read nancysnook's comment I thought *hey she can't leave she likes her blog and her readers and it's too sudden plus she has too many commitments like judging the tribute to my dad contest... *

Hobbit Mischief...I take that either you were testing your friends and acquaintances like Bilbo did with the ring {"That's it. I'm going away..." *turns invisible*}, or you were using it as a set up to make the points you wrote in this Saturday post.

I'm not surprised that you are staying (hurray!), but I am a bit surprised that you pulled the prank in the middle of the summer (instead of on April Fool's Day like Eric Novak did). To add to the confusion, Spunky Homeschool posted a serious post about leaving her blog last year, which tells people that serious bloggers will leave sometimes for various business/ministry/family reasons, so don't throw too many people off...though we all had a hard time believing that you, at this time, were sincere.

It's somewhat comical (albeit odd) to watch other people make jokes like that on their blogs...seeing as how I don't think I could ever bring myself to do it, because I'm established as "Sincerely" Amanda... ;-)

Jocelyn! How could you? I read your post yesterday and went into shock, though I was waiting till today to comment on your post. I thought about it being a joke, but I thought, "No, it's not April Fool's day, so why would she play a joke like that so out of the blue?" I also caught the "Hobbit Mischief", and thought it might be a joke, but I wasn't quite sure. I couldn't get my mind off of it, and I even started crying! I was especially distressed because you said not to e-mail you or pm you, because I really wanted to keep in touch with you. I was also confused because you are so connected and have so many commitments here on HSB that I couldn't understand why you were leaving right in the middle of that. I am so glad that you are still here! You have really encouraged me!

It's ironic because a stopped reading the Fellowship right after they were in Lothlorien (I think) because I was getting confused.

It's quite relieving that you're not leaving. So many people rely on you for things on HSB! And thank you for posting those verses...It also should help remind those other people with website ministries and blogs, that they too, have their own purposes and would definitely be greatly missed if they gave their gifts and roles God has given them to do.
