Hello Miss Jocelyn,
I enjoyed reading your post….
You do have a lot of names….I don’t have that many, but I do have a few.
I like how you included Miss Jocelyn… I agree it is refreshing to say miss like the Bennett’s or any other family from that era…
I hope you are having a wonderful day….or evening depending on when you read this.
Love,
Brielle
P.S. I finally finished the Pirate costume…almost all the pictures and taken and loaded so I’m hoping that I will get to post tomorrow.

I love your name...even though I always seem to spell it wrong in a hurry! I can understand why your mom would type J instead of the whole name. When I was little people always called me Fancy Nancy, Nancy Pansy, Fancy Pants Nancy...I like Nance, Ms/Mrs./Nancy, lots of times I just sign off on email or comments as Ms. N or N~.
Nice post, btw...I always want to call you Joc, but I know you said in your cbox that you hate that... |

Hello Jocleyn,
That was a very good post. It is weird all the nicknames we end up with....(you already know a few of mine =).
I read your Alatariel Story, that was very interesting. I made a list of all my elf and/or hobbit names, but how do you find out the definition of said names? Just wondering.
Love to hear from you.
Your friend,
Rose |

Yep,I am.. Hee hee.. Wow.. So thats your hobby huh?? For my books I just got the names from random people I meet. Like one is Sydney, from the city in Australia.. Of course.. Ha!!! I just like it.. It's unique. And Darien,Ambrielle,Jameson (is actually my youngest brothers' name. but I love it )
Oh and my favorite, which I WILL name my eldest girl is Lexi Jane.. I have always like Jane for some reason and when I watch P&P I liked it even more.. Lexi I think came from meeting someone named Lexi and then I began loving the name.. :)
YAY! I've always wanted a sister!!! Hee hee!!! :)
Yeah I am not anymore.. I just wondering when I don't hear back from them. Ha! Oh well, some people are to lazy to comment.. I don't mind... I keep forgetting to look at some of my friend's blogs and leave comments so I guess I am also lazy.. Sigh... Time for bed.. kidding..
Love,
Julia |

Three of my chruch friends are bloggers on HSB. I really do try to relate everything on my entrys with a Bible Verse. I can see how you wouldn't like it if the J in Jocelyn wasn't capatalized, ot if you were called Joc. Hope to talk to you soon and God bless!!

Hello There Miss Jocelyn!
It is wonderful to be called "Miss" isn't it? I do enjoy being called Miss Elizabeth. :-)
I have quite a few nicknames also. It would be fun to do a post about I do believe. Especially the weird ones like "LizardBreath".
I'm sorry I haven't stopped by lately either! I had to read several posts to catch up! :-)
Have a blessed day!

Dear Miss Jocelyn,
I don't have that many names....
My real name is Felicity. It means joyful.
My Dad used to call me Felipidy some times.
At soccer some people call me Flik!
LOTS of people call me Felic.
I like your name!
Good bye!
Your Friend, Felicity, Felipidy, Flik, or Felic.

Thanks! :)
I love finding out what names mean, also! My name is of Welsh origin (from the name Guinevere, so cool) and it means white wave, white spirit, fair lady, and a few others. My middle name, Rebecca, is Hebrew, and it means one who ties or binds, or something to that effect. lol But it's really fun searching for the origin of names and their meanings. You have a lot of names.... lol Ooh, I think it'd be cool to be called "Miss Jennifer" once and a while, or "Miss Harris", since I'm the oldest daughter. :)

Mae govannen ad lin Hiril Alatariel,
Most people seem to prefer Miss Jocelyn, but I of course, love Alatariel.
My full name altogether means "Gracious tree-dweller from the City of Elms". Seriously...I have the best name ever. :D
That is wonderful that lotrsavvy will be joining the OneBlog!! I have not posted in a LOOOONG time. It will be good to have another member.
My only nicknames are Sylvie and Alda, and they aren't used all that often. Every once in a while someone will call me Miss Sylvia or Miss U****, but not regularly.
No galu govad gen mellon nin,

Hi Joci!!! Heehee, I had almost forgotten about that whole spelling issue with your name. Are you coming back to the forums anytime soon? I admit I've been neglecting them lately. :-O
I don't think I have half the nicknames that you do. Sometimes I like it when people use Miss in front of my name. That makes it sound respectful and proper and Jane Austen-ish. :-)
With love,
Mandy |

Hey again! Thanks for coming by my blog! I'm glad I wasn't bugging you. Um, I am actually getting a blog on Homestead Blogger where you have one of your blogs, Country girl at Heart. I wasn't sure if I wanted two blogs but I didn't want to be anonymous all the time. I might some time have a blog on Homeschool Blogger but right now I'm not really sure. :) Also thanks for telling me my elvish name! I didn't know you only blogged some times. I am soo happy that you could come over I would LOVE to be one of your freinds. Now about the age, next to 16 I might be a little young, I'm 10 actually 11 in September. When you put that post up about you leaving blog world I was bummed. I thought you were really leaving. That was not nice Jocelyn! :) Thanks again for stopping by! I'll be checking out all your blogs often.
God bless, Jessica

I always detested those assignments in school where you have to look up the origin of your name. It is ZERO fun to always run into the same definition: of Mars.
Yup, talk about snickers and wisecracks from other kids at school Of Mars. As in the god of war. Yippee.
*sigh* Remember, this was during the pre-internet days so there were no alternative definitions. But wait! Alas! I could also be called martian...
Yup, Marsha. Oh well... I don't mind being called marshamellow. At least not anymore...
Love,
Marshamellow |
