Hi! Yes, I guess that you would need proof, but you could easily find it in the bible. I ws wondering, how many brothers and sisters do you have? it really sounds like a lot. I only have 3. But I want like 8

Personally I thought your article was great! There were so many good articles in this issue, it was one of the best ones we've done. Wasn't Ann Voscamp's (sp?) article good? She is a real role model for us young writers.

It was great to meet you on Tuesday, I would have talked with you more, but the littles thought I was a climbing rock ;) I'm not used to that many kids around, but they were pretty fun.

I'm still looking into the tickets to get down to IN, we will see.

I made a new banner for you, you are now linked on my right sidebar.

Seriously, Jocelyn, it's hard to belive that anything you wrote could be that bad! Everthing I read on your blog, at least, is great!!

Ooooooooooh, I can feel for you on 19K dial-up! We just recently got DSL, but when we were on dial-up, we rarely ever got it that slow! Do you work on something else (like crochet or something) while you wait for pages to load? :o)

I saw your comment on my blog and realized I had not been very clear in my comment! Anyway, I meant like the girl in Lord of the Rings.

Aren't you sweet? This is such a lovely post, Jocelyn... and we posted about the same thing, too... how do we do that?
And thank you for the Nice Matters award. I'm not sure if I like the presenting words, but I suppose it will do.... I accept it, but please don't expect me to get to it all too soon... I still have the Blogger Reflection Award to put up on hsb2 from, um, last May???... I never did do that! ok... I know, I know, wrong post...
As for The Girlhood...
I would encourage all of your gals to ask your Mom or Dad about getting the Girlhood, and all of you Moms to get it for your gals. It is a very lovely magazine!
You are a Blessing, Jocelyn! You know that, don't you?
Love, Mom

Dear Miss Jocelyn,
I so loved your article in the GHC! It sounds like you are learning so much, not just about raising goats, but about responsibility!
I was very honored to hear that your mom read my article to you all. :) I am still learning that lesson myself and thankfully the Lord has such grace to keep working me. (A "Piece of Work In Progress, that is my new name!)

I haven't finished reading my copy yet, I have been savoring it a little at a time. This morning I sat out under the tree in my little yard, and it brought tears to my eyes--tears of joy and appreciation! I am so thankful to be part of such a ministry.

I know Mrs. Novak appreciates your review, and most of all the prayers for the Girlhood Home Companion to minister to those who need it the most. I know the Lord has just the right people in mind to get a hold of a copy!

Blessings to you, and I hope we too get to meet in person some day. So lucky you all got to meet Eric and Robert! They sound to me like the nicest guys around. :)

In Him,
Mrs. Baetz

Aww...I'm sorry you weren't the first, too! But I still appreciate it, very much. What you said about me was really sweet.

And thank you! You have been a wonderful blogging friend, also!

Actually, I didn't actually award you, though I should one of these days. Sorry about the confusion!

That is an interesting poem. I've never heard of one like that before. Maybe I should do one of my own.

Got your e-mails, thanks!

Love,
Kylie

Hello Jocelyn,
Thank you for the comments…
I’m sorry it has taken me a while to reply to them.
Rose and I have been taking turns staying with our grandma who is recovering from surgery. So we’ve spent a lot of time up there.

How have you been? I enjoyed reading your post…
The girlhood Home Companion looks like a really nice magazine.
Pickwick Portfolio sounds very fun….

I liked your version of “Where I’m Form” post…very nice indeed.

Oh, yes…thank you so much for the award…that was so sweet of you my friend.
Thank you so much….I felt honored to receive it. I’ll have to do some more updates to my blog and add the new awards… I need to find some time to work on my blog template also…I have some new ideas I want to do to it, but alas… time is flying by.

I am sewing like crazy to get some pirate costumes done…I’m going to dye the pirate coat today and hopefully finish up the shirt and dye that. Then I have this waistcoat that also needs to be made for the costume. So once I finish that costume I can move on to the other costume order…..(the Elizabeth pirate costumes are going to New York City for a huge costume party...)
Aye! I’m a little stressed at the moment, but God is in control so I’m telling my self not to worry about it.

Sorry your dial up is so slow…sounds like ours…only ours loads at a fast ….20.2kb..lol.

Well my friend I hope you are having a good Saturday….oh, yes I’m also going to send you a message about an idea I have for you…. ;)

Love you,
Brielle

Hello Jocelyn,
Thank you for the comment.
Good Luck with your math! That is exactly why I am doing Algebra 1/2 first....I'm afraid I don't like math very much, especially Algebra. =)

I love history ,too. Although my brother is better at it than I am. For instance, a couple weeks ago he was giving me a blow by blow acount of the United States' first war on terror in Tripoli (I couldn't even have told you were that was), including the names of the commander of the united states Marine Core and the titles of their ships. I'm sorry ,but that was a little to detailed for me. LOL. =)
Love your friend,
Rose

Ohhhh pshaw! I'm sure your article is great! :)

I was able to drink Dr. Pepper yesterday :P One a day... ARGH! Not enough.. I need more...

Grr..

I hope you got my email!!! I have been sleeping in the living room on the couch instead of the floor in my bedroom. My grandmother is still visiting and we don't have a guest room so she stays in my room.. Normally I would sleep on the floor on a thin matress. But with all the things going on with my esophagitus it just hurts.. Sigh..........

12 hrs.............. wow.. wow.. wow. Yeah I was able to watch all three movies.. Except it was on the internet and so I missed several significant parts in each movie.. Heh.. Oh well.. I will probably rent it or something. Just to see Elijah wood.. Hee hee.. Ok.. Yeah.. I know Gollum is a villian but he still really scared me! EEP!

OK Yeah Imma go now. :)

Love ya mucho

That is the type of dancing we do. But we aren't allowed to dance with the same boy for more than two dances. I really like the Virginia Reel, but I think Whip the Willow is even more fun. It is a bit more wild. : )

That is a great photograph on the cover-- I especially like the colors and the angle.

Too bad I don't have a daughter... but I am okay with that. My friends have daughters and I have one niece (so far)-- so I still get my fill of shopping, craft stuff and nail polish!

I did like your poem, by the way. I thought it was quite interesting and a nice twist on writing. I must admit, I would have a hard time waxing poetic all on my own. Nothing like a madlibs, fill in the blank type of thing to give a girl a writing boost!

Anyhoo, I hope you have a great weekend, my friend!

Hey Jocelyn!
Oh my, I'm sure your arcticle was wonderful! We are all a lot more critical one ourselves than others...I am that same way too.

Thank you so much for the award! Yes, I feel the same way...you and your sister are two of the few friends I can practically tell anything too! ; )

That's great that you sre still doing the challenge! Even if it's more like 150 days, it's still a big accopmlishment! Most people don't even finish the whole Bible in their entire lives!

Anyway, Hayden is sitting next to my crying, so I better go!

Jenna ; )

P.S. I just saw a missed call on my phone from you girls, maybe we can talk this week!

hey, not "unsocialized", "government schooled", like me. sadly. I have to agree with that post, though. They teach alot in those "schools", but it is not in a way that people really get it. I know, I spent the last 13 years in them. College is a lot different. Anyway, how have u been, I have not talked to you in forever = ). God Bless
