That looks like so much fun! I bet it smells yummy too - I love citrus. :-)
I’m sorry you had to be removed from the nominee list for the HSB Awards. I had no idea about all the legalities that go along with hosting contests! Thank you for mentioning me as best encourager in your last post though. :-)
You couldn’t comment on my other blog because I dis-allowed anonymous comments. I got some a few weeks ago that were not so nice. I’m allowing them again now; we’ll see how it goes. Some people can be so cowardly when they leave mean comments and don’t sign their names. Sigh.
I hope you have a good day!

That's really neat!!
I made soap a few times a couple years ago, but I had store-bought plain soap that had been pre-made for adding your own scents and colors, so it wasn't really home-made soap.

You look like the perfect homemaker in training. I love the apron!
Bluejane and I tried using the POO, as you call it, on our faces. For Bluejane, it didn't work, but I am still using it, although, I can do nothing and my face will look fine. My face is soft!
I do have to say, though, the bar does not smell very good.
Great job on the soap. I am hoping to make some, glycerin soap soon. We'll see if it happens. |

That is awesome, Jocelyn! Although I was expecting a big SMILE from you after all that stirring was done. :-)
I have never made soap before. I bet yours will turn out amazing, especially with such natural ingredients!
Oi. I don't think I'd have the patience to wait 4 weeks though. That is a l-o-n-g time!
Love,
Marshie
PS regarding your comment about my comment about shoes... it is hard to find good 80s footwear here in the US. Wait, all I have to do is go to Wallyworld to see the dreaded ankle booties! Aggghhh! The horror! Oh wait, you don't wear those do you? If so, please ignore my postscript and chock it up to too many cupcakes and not enough coffee today... |

I've always wanted to make goat's milk soap. I mean, I've made lots of soap before, just not goat's milk. Can you feel the differance between regular homemade soap and goat's milk soap?
I found this hard to believe, but your sildeshow came up for me!!! ^_^ I was so excited! lol! You made it look preety simple. ^_^
Have a blessed day,

Wow that sounds like a lot of fun to make soap. I can't believe that you have to wait 4 weeks though, until it is done. you look like a mom with your apron on and everthing!! I looked up at your post for your contest and there is now 50 people signed up to be on it.
I went to the Salvation Army, to find some jeans, and I found two really nice long jean skirts. I am wearing one right now, and I think that my parents are going to get me some more for CHRISTmas. I asked my mom about it and she thought that it was cool that I liked wearing skirts. So, I guess that I will be wearing skirts most of the time now. I was thinking of what you said to me about it like about a month ago, and then I knew that I really wanted them. So, they were like 5 dollars for both of them. I also bought a couple pairs of jeans, and I (ok, my parents bought them) some really nice shirts.

Oooh! A TOS staff meeting would be fun, but unless it was where I live, we probably wouldn't be able to come!
I made both my sig, and my header using GIMP. We don't have photoshop, or anything , so I downloaded GIMP, and so far it has done everything we want it to. I actually made some really cool (or at least I think they are cool) pictures of Peter and Susan from Chronicles of Narnia. I could show them to you if you liked.
You're welcome for the award! |

Wow! That's cool that you make your own soap. It sounds really fun. I bet it smells good, too!
Thanks for the offer--I'll have to keep that in mind if we ever go to Indiana for Thanksgiving.
Yes, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving next year. We haven't ever made our own dinner, so it will be really neat to see how it turns out. I'm fine with it, just as long as I don't have to clean the turkey--I don't want to do that! :P
Oh, and I got a new template! It's really similar to my old one, but...well, come and see for yourself. I'd love to have your opinion.
So, when are you going to start blogging at A Pondering Heart?
Love,
Kylie |

I LOVE the satisfaction of making things on my own. That is GREAT! I just wish I knew more crafty people to make things with me. I cannot wait until my daughter is older. Right now she is at that age that just stinks for doing new things. She WANTS to do it all on her own and that is fine, but when she messes up she freaks out about it. Not fun to work with her. But we try. I just cannot wait for the day she is older and can do all the fun stuff with me and make it enjoyable! lol
I LOVED the pictures! That was great. thanks for sharing. |
