Here are some old riddles I remember... If you haven't heard them, give 'em a try! Or, if you know an answer, drop a comment.
Answers tomorrow.
----------
Number 1: A detective went to the scene of a crime. The only evidence was broken glass on the floor near a table, a puddle of water around the broken glass, and a cat sitting on the sofa.
"Murder," he concluded.
Questions:
Who was killed?
And who did the killing?
----------
Number 2: What walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three at night?
----------
Number 3: What do Eskimos get from sitting on the ice too long?
----------
Number 4: I am a thing that nothing is, and yet I have a name; I'm sometimes tall and sometimes short; I join your walks, join your sport; and play at every game. What am I?
1) The detective concluded that a fish bowl was knocked off the table by the cat. The bowl shattered, leaving water on the floor...
In the end, a goldfish was killed... And the cat did it...
2) Consider a DAY as the LIFESPAN of a human... In the morning (when we are born), we walk on all fours... In the afternoon (when we become adults), we walk on two legs... In the evening (when we are older), we use walking aid such as cains -- three legs...
So, the answer is mankind.
3) What do Eskimos get from sitting on the ice too long? POLARoids...!
4) The answer was already given on this one! Heart4Home, you are correct! Your SHADOW!
