Oh for a Walmart!

Well today I did errans. Hannah needed new shoes and since the dollar is a bit week here in Croatia we went scouting for the best deals. I did manage to find some really cute, american looking white dress shoes and for only 99 kuna. Oh yea we get 5.5 kuna for the dollar, so this was about 18 dollars, but thats pretty reasonable for any shoes here in Croatia.

She has a really cute pink dress I had made for her last year that she will be just adorable in. It's a real challenge to get modest clothing here, by modest I mean dresses and skirts. I did have Hannah several pair of culottes made last year but the little weed has out grown them. Okay so she's closer to honeysuckle than a weed but you get the idea.

I don't know much about present day croatia although my grandfather was from that area--He was Bosnian, but at that time most americans hadn't heard of Bosnia so he just said he was Yugoslavian or Serbo-Croatian.

Darling shoes! The dress sounds cute too!

Hi.. New here.

I would have paid at least 15$ Canadian for those shoes in Walmart, so 18$ isn't so bad.

My 4yo daughter is in love with these shoes.. but she loves ANY girly shoes, and girly dresses..
