Hello everyone!  It's been a long while since I last posted but anyway I'll start off with what has been going on.  On thursday while we were burning brush outside, I was carrying a shovel full of flaming coals to help start one of the piles on fire, while I was walking down a hill, a couple of the coals fell off of the shovel and into some leaves near the forest.  A while later we noticed it and that a fire had been started by the coals, my dad said for us to quickly put it out, and while we were trying to stop the fire from spreading, a huge gust of wind picked up some of the flames and carried them deeper into the woods!  We quickly tried to gather some tools and stuff to help put out the fire, also my mom ran inside to look for the fire extinguisher, but she couldn't find it anywhere!  By then the fire had gotten really deep and was getting out of hand.  My dad quickly called the Fire Department while we still tried to do all we could to put the fire out. Finally, we all started gathering bucket fulls of water, and thank the Lord for those and all of us working together, because we were able to hold the fire off long enough in time for the Fire Department to come and help.  The fire continued to get deeper into the forest, but just before it crossed a path into another part of the forest that was packed full of deadwood, we were able to put the fire out.  Praise the Lord!!!  It was a close call, but nobody got hurt, thank the Lord.  Anyway, today on the seventh of March we succesfully burned another pile of brush and now I'm pretty tired, and if you asked me how I feel right now, I'd have to say I'm firelogged.  Well, until next time, God Bless!

Well, on November 2nd it was my Birthday!  My Grandparents, and Aunt, Uncle and Cousins came over to celebrate it.  I had a great time!  My Grandmother's Birthday is a day before mine, so my Mom made two chocolate cakes.  Now on to the presents, First, I got a tobaggon that my sister made for me, I got a how Paul "Bear" Bryant turned the Tide picture, and then my Mom got me a real Lord Of The Rings Sting Sword replica!  All of my presents are awesome, I had a really good time, and that is pretty much all for now.  Okay then, pictures of my presents are coming soon, and some will have special effects, like the Sting Sword glowing blue, (Indicating that Orcs are near.)

Well, now is the time for another update.  First of all we started school on the 4th of August.  Then my Dad had his Birthday on the 10th of August, our Grandfather and Grandmother came over and celebrated it with us, and 20 days later on the 30th, it was my little sister Elizabeth's birthday, our Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and Cousin came over!  We watched the Alabama vs Clemson game (Alabama won 34-10) and we celebrated Beth's Birthday.  That was pretty much the update for now.

Last Saturday on the Ninth my Dad, brother David and I went to our Dad's Raquetball tournament in Tuscaloosa, we had a great time!.  When we arrived there we ate inside the tournament building and then David and I watched our Dad play.  He won his first game, and lost his second  We still had a fun time.  After the game we drove around and walked around the Bryant-Denny Stadium.  The Stadium was locked up and David had hoped it was open because he had brought his football helmet and ball.  We went back to the Raquetball building and ate some more there, then we headed on back home.  Well, we had a really good time there and after all that, on the 13th our friend John Y came over.  He stayed for lunch and some tea.  And then my Mom, Dad and John Y went to a restaurant and we had chicken nuggets and then he left.  Well, it's all been nice here and God has helped us through it all!  So, Until next time!

Today was nice.  First of all yesterday, my Dad and I went and helped move some furniture in for our friends, we also had pizza there and then came home.  Then today we did school, and my Mom and everyone except Amanda, Benjamin and I stayed here while our Dad went to a banquet.  I took care of Ben, I took him outside then played with him when we came back in.  Then I turned on a movie for him called "Thunderhead Son of Flicka" and he watched it all the way through (He likes it and he also likes Horses).  Then everyone came home and we had Sonic and I helped unload the car.  And now here I am typing this down!  Well, anyway thats all that happened, and until next time.

Hello Everyone!! 

I know this post is a little late for Christmas but still, This is what happened!  Anyway, we all got great presents Amanda and Rachel both got perfume, I got a Chronicles of Narnia Playstation 2 game that is really cool!  Abigail got a Backyard Bee Book, Mary got  a Horse Book, David got three football mouthpieces (I know thats alot) a football training movie and some weights that David can lift.  Beth got ballerina movie, and little Benjamin got a little car that he can ride around on he loves it!  Then after all that happened our cousin Samuel came over with his brother Goodwin and Aunt Laurel and Uncle Dan.  We had a great time, we played then had Christmas Dinner, and it was great!  Then on New Years Day we all went to Fort Mclellen and watched fireworks!  Then we met our Grandmother and Grandfather at Roma's and we had Pizza there.  Alabama also won the Liberty Bowl against Colorado, 30-24!  Anyway, it all turned out great, and until next time this is Joseph Read signing off!

Hello Bloggers!

I am sorry I haven't posted anything since August!  But things have began to get busy around here, but anyway on the first update is when we celebrated my birthday.  This time we celebrated it on the 1st, I got a new Thompson's American Standard Bible!  And also chocolate cake and ice cream!  it was GREAT!

  Then after that, on the 3rd, My Mother and Father went to the Alabama vs LSU game, and our Grandfather brought some Pizza over for us!  Then later on our Grandmother, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Anthony and our cousins Chloe and Duncan came over and we had a great time!  Anyway, then our Mom and Dad got home and although Alabama lost a really close game this day was fun and a blast!

Yesterday, we all went to Hunstville Al, for my Dad's Raquetball tournament.  We had Church's Chicken for supper and we all visited our old house 42 ripley drive.  We  took some pictures, and walked around the place, then went back to the cottage we stayed in.  Then for breakfast we had Poptarts and Sausage Biscuits.  Well, Thats just about all for now.  Right now I'm just on my Dad's laptop.  Anyway, Bye!

P.S. - Interesting thing happened while they were working on my blog.  Seems I was jumpin' around doing something, and I hit my toe really hard, and I don't know now if it's BROKEN or not.  Hmm...Yeah, I think I learned from my mistake this time.  I don't know for sure, but it looks pretty weird now. *PICTURES DEFINITELY NOT AVAILABLE*

Today was my sister Mary's birthday!  First, we all ate Hotdogs, Beans, and Coleslaw.  Then our grandparents came over and we watched "Night at The Museum" it was hilarious! 

Well the day before the 28th, we all went to our great grandparent's house.  We had McDonalds there and we went out to pet the horses which lived on their property.  All in all it's been good, although we did get a little under the weather, God has blessed richly, and though were going through a very dry and hot drout we still praise the Lord.  Well Rachel's birthday is coming up as well, and our grandparents are heading out to here again.

Today, I had a really bad day.

Well how it all started was when my Dad and I started riding our bikes through the woods.  Then after we rode through just about all of it, we started riding through the newly paved rode behind our property.  Afterwards, we rode up all the way to a dead end (which you had to go up a very steep rode)  My Dad went on down it and then I got ready too.  I rode down the hill on my bike nearly at full speed.  Suddenly through all of that the front wheel of my bike jammed and the chain of it slipped off the wheel, and the wheel stopped moving.  The bike started skidding across the rode until it hit a ditch, which sent me tumbling threw the air and right on top of a barbed wired fence.  After that I was really, really hurting, so I ripped myself apart from the barbed wired fence, and boy let me tell you it hurt like crazy!  Not only that but I just suddenly went into shock and so part of the point of the barbed tip severed through my shirt and into part of my hip and my chest.  Then after my wheel was jammed I picked the bike up and walked half way until I finally fixed it out and was able to push it all the way back to our office (On the way though some people moved into a house, and the Dad of the house was mowing the lawn, when I came across him I waved and smiled like nothing had happened.)  Anyway, after I got to the office I put my bike up, and went inside to my sister Amanda (because my Mom and the rest of the family were shopping) Amanda put some medicine on it, and when they got home I told them what happened and we had some Popeye's Chicken.  Now I'm feeling better but I'm still sore.  Although the wire was not rusted and I had my tetanus shot I still thank God that it wasn't rusted or anything worse.  And man I'm glad I feel better and it's all over (or most of it.)  PHEW!!!!

Hello everybody!!! 

Sorry that I haven't posted something in a really long time!  For some reason everytime I tried to add a new entry it wouldn't work,  Now it does!  Anyway I'll try to get an update on whats going on...

Anyway for Christmas (which was three months ago LOL)  I got a Play Station Two (or PS2) and an NCAA Football 07 game that goes with it.  I also got a gyroscope (which is kinda fun to play with if we are in the car or something.) 

Well now the days are getting longer,  and we've been burning alot of leaves and stuff.  Well that about wraps today up,  I'll post more later,  And once again I'm very sorry everyone!!!

Hello All!

Today was my birthday!  Today was really fun,  First my Dad took Rachel,  Abigail,  and I to the bank to cash some checks,  Then after that we went to wal mart and my Dad got me a new awesome bike!  Then we came home and I rode my new bike.  Well after all that we came in and had supper,  then we had chocolate cake and then I opened my presents!  I got a set of two really cool walkie talkies!  Well thats just about all for now!

Hello everyone! 

Today,  I woke up LOL!  And had eggs and grits for breakfast,  and then some leftover tacos for lunch,  and then I went outside and it was hot today.  Well then my mom read about the rise of islam, and there was a tornado watch.  It might still come through our  way,  but it was really, really windy and on the clouds one side was light with blue sky and everything while the other side was dark!  It was creepy.   Also my dad went to a meeting,  and then we looked at the weather channel to see where the tornado was heading,  and also I had a little ice cream.   The power still might go out so we were just getting ready, and there was now a tornado warning and it said to take cover now,  so we were keeping watch just in case.  But the weather feels nice and cool everytime the wind blows and stuff.  So then one thing I can't wait for is my birthday is on November 2nd.   So I am exited about that,  and also my grandmother's birthday is the day before that!   I can't wait.  Anyway I also played with my baby brother Benjamin.  He is super cute,  and he smiles everytime someone goes in the room!  Well after that I am down here writing on my blog LOL!  Well now if you haven't noticed I have a new pet I named shadow on my blog!  Well,  I guess I have to depart now but I promise I will write again!  Mark my words!!!  LOL!
