If He had made us all alike, it shore would be a boring life!

Hullo

Singing went really well; I was happy with how we did. We practiced so hard, easily thirty-forty times within four days. It really paid off, though, and I'm glad we worked on it so hard.

Hey, Charlton Heston died I think last Sunday. He was the guy who played Judah Ben-Hur in the "Ben Hur" movie and Moses in "The Ten Commandments."

In case you are wondering, no, I am not writing this because I follow the actions of movie stars with my every breath. I actually have a point for these few paragraphs.

He was president (I am pretty sure, anyway) of some Rifle association and I got the impression that he was fighting pretty hard for gun rights. He said once,

"They want to take our guns away, and I have one thing to say to that: over my cold, dead, body."

Anyone heard about Calafornia's homeschooling law? Here is the quote again- I changed it a tad and now claim it as my own:

"They want to take our guns homeschooling away, and I have one thing to say to that: over my cold, dead, body."

     Oh Yeah.

     Fare Thee Well!

I don't mind at all getting long comments. I actually like them a lot more than short ones, but really I don't care as long as people leave them. : D I didn't used to get any comments at all.

If you knew a bit more about Obama you would be even more scared of him than of Hillary. He is WAY more liberal than she is really. He voted yes on bill that would make it legal to sue the telephone companies that cooperated with President Bush after 9/11 and gave him information. Even Hillary didn't vote yes to that. Plus that, have you heard about the Church that he has been going to for years? His pastor HATES white people and Obama won't admit that he's wrong. People notice the things that Hillary does. They don't notice what he does.
At least McCain is a republican. He's better than either Hillary or Obama. I think it is a matter of choosing the lesser of three evils. We would be a lot worse off with either of the democratic candidates than with McCain. We republicans blew it by not getting behind Huckabee and making him the top candidate but we shouldn't make the same mistake with McCain. Besides we really need someone who is good on the war right now. And he would finish the job.

I know what you mean about your book tastes. My book and movie tastes are rather varied. Especially my music tastes. :-)

I think this comment got a bit long too. Hope you don't mind.

LOL I like your revised quote, I think everyone homeschooling in CA should say that. ;)

Sure you can put me on your friends list!

About Me

My name is Christina and I am a 16 year old Christian homeschooler, the fourth of ten kids. Yeah, I'm different; I like the Lord of the Rings, but dislike Arwen intensely... I get along with my siblings... I like (gasp!) country gospel and southern gospel music and dislike the majority of contemporary... I think the word "cute" applies only to puppies and kittens-no exceptions... I read british comedy and enjoy it immensely... and I eat raw onions. On occasion, that is. Hope you like it, and tootely-pip!
