Shalom, Y'all

Hallo.

I figured out this really neat trick with beet juice. See, after you boil them, there is this leftover water/beet juice that has turned a really dark purple-red. Naturally upon realizing this I (secretly)saved some overnight and put it in a pitcher on the counter the next day. Not realizing what it was, my older brother and my next in line younger brother (yeah, I'm sandwiched between boys) both took a drink.

Henceforth all the kids will smell the pitcher before drinking grape juice.

Let's see, what else exciting has been going on... since my last post I broke a mug, a glass cup, a plate, and a toenail (not my fault. honestly. I don't remember how I broke the cups, but the plate was an honest mistake. I accidently stuck my finger into an electrical outlet (don't ask... ) and dropped the plate).

School has started; I am again taking two college classes with my regular work. So far it has been decently simple.

Oh, I almost passed out, too, at a fair. That was wierd. Never happened before, but I was in a  contest in a big barn, and things started swimming and I saw lots of blackish sparkles. I was really sick for a while there; everyone was really nice, but I still felt like I was dying for probably a half-hour. Dehydrated/overheated/sick anyway don't combine very well I guess. I was trembly all the rest of the day even after I got better.

I placed eighth in the contest, by the way. I was very pleased with that.

I'm trying to think what else is going on lately, but it doesn't seem like a whole lot. I burnt two fingers on the stove today. Oops.

Also Jennifer was going to can a bunch of vegetable soup, but I accidently lost the thing that goes on top of the pressure cooker to keep the pressure up- misplaced it, and couldn't remember if it was I who did it. We ended up eating the soup, and they found it the next day by the CD player, so it had to have been me.

     Sometimes I really wonder....

I think that's all, folks. Fare thee well.

Oh, poor you. =/ Sounds like you've had a lot of accidents lately.

I know what you mean by forgetting things a lot. I do that all the time. :P

Besides the fact that she's a girl I really like Palin. And because she is a girl it gives McCain a better chance of winning. But yeah. Media seems to have something against her.

They have been rather childish lately. Did you hear Obama's latest comments about putting lipstick on a pig??? He's so rude!

Haha :D yeah that would be fun. Lets everyone straight. ;)

Love you, Rose

Hello Christina, thanks for your comment and I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to reply back!! School's been taking SO much of my time and I haven't been able to keep up as much as I'd like on my comments!!
Anyhow, I really hope you'll do my contest, I only have 2 entries and I don't know if I'll be able to continue my contest if I don't have enough people by October 17th!! Ahhh!!! ^_^

My views on global warming....hmmm...is your question what do I think we should do about it or do I believe it's real? ^_^ And no, I don't agree with hunting, and I especially don't agree with sport hunting!! Animals go through a lot of pain and suffer very much from bullets if you don't hit them correctly (most people don't) and it just isn't humane. I don't like killing in general at all. -_^

Oh, and about your title....are you Messianic? Or just learning Hebrew? Or what denomination are you?

Yahweh Bless,
Toria

About Me

My name is Christina and I am a 16 year old Christian homeschooler, the fourth of ten kids. Yeah, I'm different; I like the Lord of the Rings, but dislike Arwen intensely... I get along with my siblings... I like (gasp!) country gospel and southern gospel music and dislike the majority of contemporary... I think the word "cute" applies only to puppies and kittens-no exceptions... I read british comedy and enjoy it immensely... and I eat raw onions. On occasion, that is. Hope you like it, and tootely-pip!
