Joyful Heart for Him

Jun. 15, 2009 - Our Graduate..... DEAN'S SPECIAL DAY!!

THIS IS ME AND MY HANDSOME SON, DEAN, ON HIS DAY OF GRADUATING FROM OUR HOMESCHOOL~~~ Doesn't he look grown up? WOW! HE IS TRULY A YOUNG MAN OF FERVOR.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Myself, Dean, and my Dear Huband Logan.
We are so proud of our son! After homeschooling him since the 5th grade... he is on his way to newer and brighter places- by The Hand of The Lord:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BELOW:    Dean's Gradution was Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning our church, Freedom Fellowship, honored Megan, Dean & Annie with engraved Bibles, as gifts from the church to them. It was a beautiful ceremony. We even had a slide show by Power Point, with all of each their photos from a life-time of learning. It was simply a beautiful day!!

((I have some more photos that I will add later. ))

JOY ABUNDANT,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your wonderful comment. I replied to it there, but then it occurred to me that you might not see it there, so here it is again.

Yes, indeed, there is a proverb for that! Except it's in Ecclesiastes, which may mean it's not a proverb... :) Here it is, and it's such a life-changer!

Ecclesiastes 10:10 "If the axe is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but skill will bring success."

After all that, though, I want to confess that I know very little about blogging, although that little bit is growing every week.

Thank you for the compliment on how the blog is set up. I just chose a pretty template and kept things as plain as possible so those on dial-up can read it too. I love the peacefulness of blue; I notice you like blue as well. :)

I just discovered the forums (at the top ot the control panel) and there's one there for new bloggers. Hopefully I will be able to spend some time there over the next few weeks, learning a few more things.

I'm new here and my two boys are almost 4 and 8 months and I would love to homeschool.
Blessings,
