Cross Reflections
Dateline: Mar. 22, 2008
Good Weekend

It's been over a month since I've posted anything.  I've actually written two different posts (the old fashioned way with pen and paper) but I never got around to typing them up. It just occurred to me yesterday that since my blog is about the cross I'm missing an important opportunity to boast in the cross on this good weekend.  Yesterday was Good Friday - and a good day it was.  It was an opportunity to pause and really reflect on what the cross means for me, to remember all that Jesus endured because of my sin.  Our church holds an excellent Good Friday service and our pastor, Rick Gamache, reads a narrative that he wrote about the crucifixion.  I wanted to post the link so that if you are reading this you can hear it for yourself.  It's only a little over 20 minutes but it will be time well spent as you hear a fresh retelling of the crucifixion.  Here's the link: Crucifixion Narrative

Tomorrow as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ may our hearts be filled with joy over what the death and resurrection of Jesus mean for us.

Hi there, I found you by the random blog button. I have really enjoyed reading some of your posts. I'll have to come back and read some more. I recently posted on Proverbs 3:5-8. I think I titled it LITERALLY - I'm a work at progress, you're welcome to stop by and check it out. Wow, you are really transparent and very authentic here, what courage! I thought I was really taking a plunge when I spoke about my 'anger' issues. God is so good, and He is so gracious to constantly be at work in our lives. I have lots to say about the Lord at work in my life, but for right now I just feel quiet.
OH- I wanted to mention, I just started a new Bible study, Breaking Free by Beth Moore. The first topic is on pride. It's been wonderful so far, it is very 'meaty' and lots of reading in God's Word. I really like it.
I wish I could 'tell' you how to add music to your blog. If you double click my music player it will lead you to the sight to make a playlist. But, of course you need to know how to add it to your template and I figured that out by pure trial and error :O) !!
I hope you have a great day. Thank you, I have been blessed by your postings - I look forward to visiting again.
God Bless to you and your family.
Good night :O)
