I cannot believe that worked... I dislike cleaning my room, and I hate going through my old schoolbooks. It just seems sort of depressing how much I HAVEN'T GOTTEN DONE. :P
But I found an old notebook from when I was thirteen (three and half years ago, people!) with my storyline, characters, everything, that I had wanted to do for NaNo. So THIS IS THE LAST TIME. I promise. I'm switching plots.
But since I have two minutes according to mom, I'm just going to give a brief summary, well, actually, just the characters.
Maneveri is an Elf, who lives in Arahelmia, and desires to become an ambassador to Druondim and other countries.
Araron is an Elf, who lives in Druondim, a squire to an unkind master.
Toron and Turia are twin Men, who live in Okori. Toron wishes to be free of his cousin the Prince's constant demands, and Turia usually wants whatever her brother wants, excepting that she likes being provided for, since it saves her time to plot out deviously good schemes.
Sanwira is a Vampire, who lives in Koinelath. She rides her dragon, and dislikes her mother who wants to rule...
and Dad's cutting me off, so I'll talk later...
and Maneveri is making me do a geography report on Arahelmia before I write Jewel-Bearers for NaNo... and if she does, Araron will want me to do his on Druondim, and then Toron and Toria will make me do Okori, and since she's genuinely wanting to fit in and be good, Sanwira begs me to do Koinelath. But thankfully, Uorthiano wants me to have nothing to do with his realm, Xalitor, and his wife Yandirka would prefer if I left Xlixto alone.
So I've got four geography essays to do in nine and a half hours.
I could be shot dead by the time NaNo rolls around....

Finally! After a month of aggravation, I decided. Let's see... which one did I decide on again?
yes, that's how unsure I am.
I wish I could stop doing this. Oh!
I remembered! It's about a deadly ninja, who's life changes drastically
because of horses. and then it (I'm not sure of the gender just yet but it looks like him ->
except for the yellow face) goes on adventures in which its ninja training is totally useless, and then it finds that just because it's physically strong, it doesn't have to use it in every possible situation...
I'm actually making this somewhat up on the spur of the moment, because I only remember the ninja and the horses.

generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action. ~ Frank

I guess that life is too short to wait on some things, inspiration for instance. But I guess I also forgot to tell you that my writing tends to be absurd and ridiculously silly. But what the hey, you coulda figured that out just by reading my previous posts. After all, you're not dumb.
Okay, so NaNo is settled... um...news... Oh!
All seven of us (that includes the parents!) went to GA on Friday afternoon, and we went to Bryan Davis's book signing in Douglasville, then had dinner with him, his three daughters, and three other kids. Well, one of them was nineteen or something, so yeah. And then yesterday we went to this party with them, celebrating Bryan Davis's new book "Eye of the Oracle". Pretty nice sized party too. But totally hilarious and random.
We had a blast just doing that all evening...
Recently I've gone through bouts of depression. Lots of them. It seems constant. So taking the advice of a friend, I began digging in Philippians last night, and copied Philippians 1 today. I'm going to be thinking about that, and then MAYBE sharing my notes... possibly. It would be difficult without explanation for some parts.
And now my computer's acting up, I think this smilie had something to do with it. My mouse isn't registering well.
*yawn* I'm going to go and try to write something and then eat and then try and sleep some. I didn't get to sleep til one, just getting home at 11 last night from GA.
ttyl!

Now listening to the Rocky Theme.
I happen to like this "old" music right now. Feels a little bit better than my fave rock an roll, aka Stellar Kart, Superchic[k], BarlowGirl, etc. at least for the time being.
I am in a bit of a good mood, nearly having the plot for my NaNoWriMo (did y'all notice that there was an article about it in a homeschool magazine?) all ready... I still can't decide between two, but since I don't have my notebook with me, I'm not going to risk a description yet. :P
My six year old sister wants to watch the Hero Factor (a movie some college kids made, absolute geniuses all of them, and two of the stars are older siblings of some of my best friends and one of the stars IS one of my best friends), so in a family of seven people, the computer gets kind of crowded. :) But I'm going to go out and maybe play in the drizzley rain. It's sort of gloomy out, but just enough to make me bored with inside.
I'm going to go and play outside for a little now... :P But I'll be back!
MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!

In case you don't recognize the names under most of the comments currently, MangyCat is the leader of our teen writing forum, Linny and Emerwen being members and some of my "sisters". :)
Yes, my mother. Yea and verily, I shalt write. You shall be hard put to drag me from my beloved notebook... when I'm not using the computer!
Queen, "Don't Stop Me Now"... I like this song... It's uptempo and fun to sing. But DON'T put me under the torture of Numa Numa, AKA Dragostea Din Tei. That's just too repetive.
My sister's wanting the computer... so I shall come back and record my not-so-ingenious problems with my NaNoWriMo AFTER she disappears from MY domain being the computer! *ninja face*

Now that the stress of trying to figure out a new site is over, I can finally go!
Okay. I'm 16, a member of one of the greatest writing forums ever http://z11.invisionfree.com/CleanPlace/index.php? (Yes, "Mangycat", I realized you would be reading this.... *whistles innocently* ), the second of six kids (my 11 yr old sister is in the room and possibly reading this....), and the caretaker of my nine year old sister's guinea pig.
My siblings shall be listed as follows:
PG- age 26
(and then there's me)
JD- age 14
HK- age 11
B- age 9
A- age 6
That's for your sanity. I don't have any left. The reason for that being November begins NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. 50,000 words to be written in 30 days. I did something similar in July, 15,000 words within 31 days, with only fifteen minutes to spare. I think Mom was kind of getting sick of my constant zoning out during that month, but that was also when we were traveling back and forth from Indiana.... :P I may escape her wrath this time, but it's highly unlikely. She DOES allow me to count it as school.
So I'm well off. Maybe. At least, unlike my siblings, I'm still unschooling. :) It's easier for me to write if I don't have a schedule.
I should set HK to making snack... B and A are napping with Mom, and JD's in his room. And I definitely need to work out some sort of schedule, if only for when I get up, and when I get online, and when I need to get what done. :P
Recently, I've been accused of being depressed.... I guess it was my fault for turning off my alarm this morning, sleeping in til 10, and then spending another hour in my room for devotions. I had a problem with depression during the summer, and I spent a lot of time in my room. I just haven't felt like getting outside for the last week... it got up into the nineties again this week. last week it was eighties and high seventies. It actually felt decent out.
And now my fingers are cold.
Sometimes I'd like to do that, because then I wouldn't have to read junk mail that comes through our spam filter! But I can't. Yet. Mom's very proud of her new computer. :) At least the one that works. Our old iMac won't anymore. It's a very lazy toddler... except it's six or seven years old! *blinks* And the majority of us are computer illiterate.... at least when it comes to actually picking up the manual and using it....
JD just waltzed in here and asked which paper airplane I wanted him to make, and then I pointed at one. He came in nearly two minutes later (I had pointed at a DIFFICULT ONE!) and flew one at my head. He's really good... although it kind of scares me when he's a genius at that....
Maybe I just feel like he's gonna shoot me with his paper.... which doesn't make much sense, but I should get out my pens and scribble on it and hope he can't use it... *whistles*
That's basically the movie he and my sister and I are making. We're three kids, deciding on what movie we want to make, and then I don't want to be the bad guy and get killed, so we face off, but it's basically exactly like the movie that the three kids were planning.... it's interesting, to say the least. I'm Empress Inkaholic, and the other two are the good guys... I'll explain when my brain settles down from spacing.... :)
Talk to y'all later... if I remember the url!
