Taking Life one Day at a time

• Oct. 11, 2006 - QRSTUV......

Too Funny.....Today was an okay day but one of the highlights is listening to my slow to speak 2yr old trying out the ABC's song.  He has down the middle to end and has the tune down to a T!  Its so funny he just kept singing QRSTUV over and over today!  It was like so wonderful to hear him singing it made me smile!

We had speech today, this morning actually, it went okay.  Today is the first day we had lots of tears during the class time.  I think he is overtired and I am praying he isn't getting sick with anything since we are on the verge of vacation!  YIPPEE~  The two year old I am referring to has a busy week this week, speech today, Occupational & Physical Therapy tomorrow!  Whew, it wears me out, he is a trooper!

The kids are going with my inlaws and their cousins tomorrow afternoon, they are taking them to a place that is like a Giant Video Game/Entertainment Complex thingy.  We aren't big on taking them to these places ourselves really but I hope they keep their eyes on them.!~  I know your thinking they are there grandparents and I do know that....I just always think no one watches your kids like you do, ya know?  I mean I still make my kids go into the "womens" bathroom with me (they are all boys 9.5yr, 8yr & 2.5yr), they don't complain but I hope that they know not to go in by themselves anywhere, people are so creepy with little boys!  I just don't trust my babies to this world (yes I am overprotective I suppose).~

The good thing about them going tomorrow afternoon is that I will be able to get some much needed running around done both in the house and to the store!  Its so hard keeping up with it all being a homeschool mom isn't it?

Well I guess I am off to bed, I am really tired now...

Later.

I'm sure your boys all came home safe today! I just wanted to encourage you that you're a good mom to keep them with you (even in the potty!) and you are NOT overprotective. If only more mommies would do such a good job. It only takes an instant for someone to get "creepy" with your kids. Way to go!!
