Elf is possibly the best Christmas movie ever. Next to the elderly It's a Wondeful Life.

I remember the days when I would post every day. I've been sucked into the busy world of work, school, TOM meetings, prayer meetings, leadership team meetings, CHWC meetings, Christmas, the coming lock-in, CCD, and everything....which should explain the lack of posts.

I've found that Christmas decorations look a lot better with three feet of snow on the ground...unless, of course, the snow is covering the decorations and no one can tell we've done a single thing for Christmas decorating.

Last Thursday was an eventful day. In the morning, i looked out the window and much to my dissapointment, the snow had vanished in the 50-degree-weather of the day before. So, as usual, I got a little school done, got in the car and since I am too young for a drivers liscence, my mother drives me to a prison better known as the library. Which is where I waste 3 hours a day working my butt off. While putting books away endlessly, I look out the window and the clouds burst open and dumped 3 feet of snow on us. I danced and leaped down the aisles. Until I looked out the front window and saw bumper-to-bumper traffic. My mom showed up at 1:23 pm, 23 minutes late. I ran to the car where my mom and 2 cousins who got out of school early (they go to a public school). It usually takes 10 minutes to get home. This particular Thursday, it took an hour and a half. And hour and a half of blasting Christmas music and Jescey (7 year olf cousin who was sitting next to me) opening the window, catching snow and smearing it on my face. Tickle fights, beating eachother up, and singing while snows falling all around and people are beeping horns. Nothing like that to get ya in the Christmas spirit. I loved it. xD the cutest thing was when the chipmunk christmas song came on and Jescey's like "the chipmunks are such good singers" lol. We had a truck stop in front of us that couldn't move and then another car stopping. Some guy came out of his house and poured sand in the snow around the car. It made me happy to see something nice like that happen. I learned later that a school bus full of kids was stuck in the snow till midnight. O_O

Yesterday (Monday) was crazy. At 5:00, there was a Teens On a Mission meeting, after that, the prayer meeting, after that, the Leadership Team meeting. And I was dangerously, on the verge of gettiing in trouble hyper. Probably because I was eating donuts. ^_^ It was insane. We got pretty much nothing done. C'Sondra randomly pulls out Georgie the Dinosaur, CYO's mascot that mysteriously fell from the ceiling months ago. I took a pic of it.

...and meanwhile i was having wars with Zack. As usual.
Another ping pong ball rolls in. I wanted to name it Jerry. Like Jimmy and Jerry. From Veggie Tales. But Jam-Jam insisted it was Jimmy Jr. Unorginal -_-
Then the prayer meeting afterrrrr....got me all Christmas-happy. Yay. The Leadership team meeting---oh man. We're all crazy. Henri joined us so Jam-Jam wouldn't be the only guy. But its stil 9 against 2 so haha. Today we planned the Lock-In which is two days after Christmas.

crazy stuff. Henri took full possesion of the candy bowl...as in holding onto it...which was not a good thing. He ended up jumping out of his chair at random intervals, dancing a bit, and using a John Lennon accent for the remaining time of the meeting

and this is the ridiculous scedule we came up with

7:00 PM- prayer meeting
8:30-9:00- free time
9:00-9:30- icebreakers
9:30-10:30- Improv (i'm yet to find out what exactly that is...apparenty Ashley knows about it)
10:30-11:30- pizza/ free time
11:30-12:15: gym time- either volleyball or basketball
12:15-2: ice cream/movie (pick either Toy Story or Evan Almighty)
2-3- american idol karaoke. haha...should be interesting,
3-3:20- free time
3:20-4:30-dance (cotten-eyed joe tournament)
4:30-5- free time
5-6: dodgeball (HA we planned for it to be at 5:00 in the morning for a reason)
6-6:15- free time
6:15-6:30- morning prayer led by me, Manders, and Courtney. Oh boy.
6:30-7-breakfast. Donuts

can't wait. Haha.

comments saying "OMG THAT POST WAS LONG" are not allowed. I KNOW THAT. <3 :) love ya'll. And being from the northeast, i never say ya'll. So it MUST mean that when i say it, it means i love you pretty big. K? K. OK. Bye. ^_^

Inprov is soooooo much fun! I'd tell you what it is, but there are many ways to play it so I might confuse you...I'll just say that it has to do with acting on the spot.
