I just wanted to share this with yall.

Michael Anthony, a Mississippian, wrote this in a letter to the editor:

"As a Jew, I am extremely proud of the South and the way Jews were treated in the antebellum South. For those uninformed, Jews were treated as equals and brothers in a South that was overwhelmingly conservative Christian. Jews were allowed to own land, their own stores and work without fear of persecution or harm."

And you're bragging about something that is to be expected anyway? People like you who think they should be credited for things they are supposed to do to begin with, like not persecute people of other faiths, make me laugh.

I am not bragging about anything. I am merely trying to point out that the South was not racist to the extent taught in public schools, and sadly, in many homeschools, as well.
