Aug. 5, 2008 - Some Updates
1. Our van repair is estimated at $1000. We have this money in our emergency fund, which is good news. On the other hand, neither Steve nor I are sure that what we are getting repaired is necessary. Steve is going to look into it and I am trying not to be distressed.
2. Today I had the last part of a root canal done. The endodontist is hoping for the best, but he's concerned about my symptoms. I may need surgery in the future. Again, I am trying not to be distressed.
3. What is it about taking the girls to swimming lessons that wears me out? Only two days left.
4. The garden project has stalled. I'm thinking of waiting til fall when the plants have died or gone dormant because then they will be much easier to pull out by the roots. My mom suggested that after I get the plants pulled out, I should put down that plastic stuff (can't think of the name right now) and a good layer of mulch. Sounds great to me.

Swimming lessons wear me out too. Everytime I sign the kids up I dread the weeks of lessons, even if it's only a couple weeks long. ugh I thought that would be so fun to take your kids to swimming. Not so much.
Sounds like you are hitting a rough patch right now, I'll be thinking of you. :)
