National Day of Prayer 2007Not many people know that today is a National Day of Prayer. I've been sitting here for a few minutes thinking about that: a National Day of Prayer. But how many people will be praying? It's one day a year when we can concentrate on prayer. Prayer is so vital yet so neglected. Why? Is it because it takes too much time? Do you find it to be a trecherous task? Today I encourage you to take some time to pray. It doesn't have to be long but devote just a few minutes to prayer. It would be simply marvelous if we could all turn a few minutes today into a lifelong habit. Daniel 6:10 "When Daniel heard that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously." 11:56 - May. 3, 2007 - post comment
