School has been going really well for us this month. Devon has been getting into some older books for her free reading. Usually she likes to read easy books but the last two she's chosen have been Julie of the Wolves and By the Shores of Silver Lake. Much better than Magic Tree House or Arthur Chapter Books.

I am starting Five in a Row with Regan on Monday. Ryan will probably join us since he loves being read to. I think we are going to start with The Story of Ping and then do A Pair of Red Clogs the second week.

I had my first OB appt yesterday. It was with the nurse and was a new patient type appt. For now they are putting my due date as May 2nd but that may change. I am having an ultrasound on the 20th of October and that should give us a more accurate due date.

You posted on my blog that my last entry sounded alot like your daughter. My daughter Augusting is so completely uninterested in school. I think it is hard right now for me to get her interested more because I am in school as well. I graduate from college in May 07. I look forward to being done because I will be able to make school more fun for her I hope anyway. If I come up with any unique ways of helping her become more interested in school than I will let you know and maybe you can try it too. How old is your daughter? I hope things are going well.
