Too Busy To Breath

Do you ever feel like you are too busy to breath?? Boy I sure do!!! and I'm sure you do as well....after all homeschooling is the right choice, but that doesn't always make things a picnic does it?

After a very busy week, which consisted of doing something every day, as in going to get glasses for my girls, CPR training required by my job, and other such things....It was a week that was short on sleep, and long on more things to do...Hence why I haven't posted before now...Figured today we could make up some time on our schoolwork, but than it was nice outside, and the girls haven't had much of a chance to play outside with all the running around we've had to do....So we took time to focus on other things than bookwork. I have found a great value in taking times like this....We cleaned the car out, we played outside...and yes, when I say "we", I do mean both the girls and I. I pitched while the girls batted, we played catch...I took them to a park and spun them around on a merry-go-round, and we did sidewalk art with chaulk...All in all, a peaceful day...One that finally gave us a chance to breath....

There will always be another day for bookwork...It doesn't go anywhere...but there may not always be another day for precious moments spent with your children. Ones where you tie the knot of family tighter, or weave another string into your family rope. I think it's important for us to remember that!!
