Time Flies

It has been much too long since I did an entry...story of my life it seems. *LOL* I get so busy around the house, with kids, and doing my own studying that I don't have much time for computering....I really have to try better though, because soon it will be back to weekly posts, and I have to try better to keep up on them!!!

I was so excited the other day to see a comment left on here for me!!! I love comments!!! I am going to repost the comment, and hope that you don't mind Mrs. Wood!!

"It is great to "meet" you. I am new to KS and looking for other Christian Home Educating families. My name is Jeanette, my husband and nine children just moved to Topeka. Are you near us at all? We are going to be visiting the capital tomorrow. Have a wonderful week as you abide in Him! Mrs. Joseph Wood"

First of all I would like to say "Welcome to Kansas!! and I'm glad to meet you as well!!"...I do live near Topeka in a country-fied way...*LOL* Which means I am within driving distance, but don't expect me to be able to meet for lunch without a few hours warning...(not that I'm looking for an invite!!)...I certainly hope you bookmarked this site, as I'm estatic to meet another Kansas homeschooler, especially one so close!!! I have the normal hundred questions...what brought you to Kansas, how long have you been homeschooling, and the whole slew of others....not that this blog would be the appropriate place to discuss such things, but I just can't help being excited!!

I would also like to invite any other Kansas homeschoolers to leave me a message as well, as I have to say that I know of only a few others in all of Kansas and I have to think that there are more of us hiding than just one or two!!! And, I don't know if I am supposed to or not...but over at http://www.thehomeschoollounge.com They have a group for Kansas homeschoolers. Although I have to admitt I haven't been over there in months, due to lack of time, I think it's a great way for us Kansans to connect, and I love that I can also connect to hundreds of other homeschoolers.

Well, anyway, I guess that's about it for this time. Hopefully it won't be another month before I get in here to do another entry. I'm going to get off here and take time to read my TOS magazine that just came in the mail...Let me know if any of you are interested in checking it out!! It's a great magazine just filled to the brim of great homeschooling stuff!!!

Blessings All!!!
