Thirteen
Places I Have Lived
My dad was in the Navy and then my husband
went from being a Virginia State Trooper to being in the
ministry. This has meant a life of packing and moving for
me. Along the way I have met some wonderful friends and
unfortunately lost contact with many. Maybe someday, someone will
find me through this blog.
1. Virginia Beach, VA (twice)
2. San Diego, CA (twice)
3. Upton, KY
4. Hixson, TN
5. Lynchburg, VA
6. Richmond, VA (Henrico Co)
7. Richmond, VA (Hanover Co)
8. Oilville, VA
9. Richmond, VA (Goochland Co)
10. Richmond, VA (city)
11. Decatur, AL (twice)
12. Brasov, Romania
13. Constanta, Romania
I do not have any idea of where I will be next but I do know my final destination!
Let
not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In
my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

That's life I suppose. It's a journey, that has a fixed end goal - The Lord... Along our way, we meet so many, some we hold onto, some hold onto us, some leave lasting imprints....Even if they do not find you, I'm sure you are on their minds.... Her's to lost friends, & new ones as well...

I have lived in my home state, all of my but one year (that I lived in New Orleans). I always love reading about where other people live and travel though - you've lived some great places. We have friends in Decatur, AL and went through some of Virginia last year on vacation, just beautiful.
I'm also curious about the Romania entries!
Have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping by my T13!

Isn't it interesting how different people's lives are? You've moved so many times, and we've been here 18 years!
What happened with Monica's job? Did she get it? I was praying that she would either get it, or something better.
Have a great day,
Barb

Wow! You're really made your rounds! I've lived in the same 2 towns my whole life; and 35 of my 36 years have been spent in the same 2 houses. I love to travel; but I always end up right back where I started from!
I want to thank you for your prayers for our little Ian. When we went to pick up Gracie is 2000, there were 4 babies that got adopted on our trip. She was the only one who didn't cry when they handed them over to us; and I firmly believe it was because she had so many people praying for her. I pray every day that Ian will feel the love of his family. So, your prayers are very important and very special!
Blessings,
Heidi

My father was Air Force and ex was Army, so I've also moved around the States many times in 48 years. I'm now living in Sweden and hope to make England my next place of residency.

July 29, 2006 - don't you just miss va beach?
Posted by PinayMom
.. i still do. and i think i get homesick of virginia more everyday than i ever did with philippines..haha funny how that goes!

My husband John and I have been married for 22 years as of April 2009. We have 3 children- two teens and a 10 year old and have been homeschooling for most of their lives. After John left the State Police in 1992, we spent 10 years as missionaries to Romania. We returned from the field in March of 2007. John was rehired by the State Police in 2008 and the whole family is very involved in ministering in a new church plant.
