Busy, Busy Day
Today we took a break from our regular academic schedule in
order to clean house! Not only was some
scrubbing necessary but some spots were screaming out for organization. I asked John if he would tackle the “black
hall”. Hannah gave it that name
a few years ago because we have three tall, black bookshelves in this spot. It is not really a hallway at all but more
like a walk-in sized walk-thru closet located between the living room and Holly’s
room. I have organized this area several
times in the past but it tends to be a catch all and my work does not last
long. John and Gabriel worked on it
together this morning and it looks great. I have a feeling that it will look that way
for a while since John’s bark is a bit fiercer than mine.
We also took some family pictures today. These were taken in our living room.

Those pictures turned out wonderful! Your family is lovely. Will you send them in your Christmas cards? I am waiting til Ian comes home to take a picture of the kids all together~ so our Christmas cards might be more like New Years cards this year.
I did the same thing you did today~ worked on re-organizing some areas of my home. Trying to get everything clutter-free before I leave for Vietnam. My best friend will be coming to clean for me while I'm away, and I need to make sure she can actually find some surfaces to clean!

We had a cleaning day that day too, AND we took family pictures and were all wearing red and black. We are living similar lives! :)
