That is so neat that your Dad is involved with the Gideons. There is a fellow in our church who is and he comes and talks once in awhile what they are doing. That is so cool they are going to Africa. My Grandfather took his family ( my Mom ) to Africa when she was 16 yo. He was my inspiration to wanting to be a missionary. We just finished reading a story about David Livingstone. I will have to show the boys this. Thanks for sharing.
God Bless my SSiC <><

I love to read about Africa and am honored to be able to pray for your father! I have had such a heart for Africa since I was a girl. My husband and I had the privilege of leading a short-term mission trip, through World Vision, to Zambia about 3 1/2 years ago.... It was amazing!
My TT is up... 13 Things I love that begin with the letter S!
Blessings,

I'm not a big fan of cooked fish, either. I really only like salmon and tuna, if it's cooked right. But, sushi is nothing like cooked fish.... It's wonderful! If ever you do decide you would like to try it, you need to make sure you go to a GOOD place, otherwise you WILL hate it!!
Just my 2 cents!!

Pray for me too while he is gone that the washer or dryer doesn't break, the car runs well, my safety. I am already feeling how big and lonesome this house is going to be with just me in it.

I will be praying for you dad! For safe travels there and back!
Regarding the washing machine, I most definitely appreciate all of my luxuries here in the US. Just reading tidbits of what you and others that live outside the US contend with every single day make me appreciate what we have! That and the fact that I personally know how to wash clothes with a wooden scrub board and a bar of soap. :-) I learned that skill from my korean grandmother. My dad used to get so irritated because she would wash it that way and ALL of his shirts would end up super thin/worn out! hehehee... Good times, good times...
Hope you have a fantastic Lord's Day!
Love,
Marsha
PS I really appreciate you stopping by my blog so often. It's nice to know that I have friends that care enough (or are bored enough...hehehee) to read what's muddling around in my brain. Besides, it's no fun being crazy and dorky by myself!
