I Can't Think of a Title
December 24th - Christmas
with my mom, dad and my two brothers and their families. We
had pizza and finger foods and used disposable cups and plates.
Less clean up! We were all blessed with many wonderful
gifts. I have collected tins for years and my mom gave me a
Quaker Oats tin. Later Holly asked, "Who gave you that empty can and what's the point in that?" I just never know what she's going to say.
December 25th - Christmas
with just us five and my mom and dad. We went to our home church
at 10 AM. John fixed Christmas dinner for us! We had turkey
breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, Stove Top stuffing, steamed
vegetables and cranberry sauce. He even washed dishes
afterwards. How blessed I am. That evening we went to my
older brother's church. He was asking the congregation some
questions and of course brave Holly was willing to participate. I
was really hoping Dave would ignore her and go on to someone
else. Like I said earlier, I never know what she might say.
But it was a simple question of "What does Christmas mean to you?" and
her answer was, "Getting presents." Now that, I would expect.
December 26th -
Laundry was piled high so that was first on my priority list after
sleeping late and lazing around. I didn't get dressed until
shortly before noon. Don't you just love Christmas break! I
worked on finding places for Christmas gifts in our room and helped
Holly make some jewelry with her new bead set. Then I had to make
some Cheeseburger Soup which we took to our friends' home. We went over
there so John could help them with their new computer.
December 27th - Today I'm planning on playing Holly's new game with her.
Beyond that, I really don't know. There's much that needs to be
done so I'd better get started. I hope everyone has had a blessed
Christmas!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time:)
I stopped by your mom's.......blog that is--she is VERY creative with her ornaments. I wish I could do thing like that.
BTW, your laundry situation....sounds like mine. I think I could somehow recreate Mt. Rushmore with it.

I collect old tins too. Once my daughter just insisted that I was hiding Kisses inside a Hershey's tin, but to her disappointment it was just candles. :-) She didn't "get it" either. :-)

We're also taking this week off from school. Just today, I was thinking, "Groan... We're half-way through with vacation already and what have I accomplished?" I know that when we're doing school, I think of tons of things that need to be done. But, now that I have the time to do them, I just can't think of what they were. hmmm... I'm sure they'll come back to mind once we start up with school again. :-)

I clicked on you "mom" name and noticed in her entry that she had written about visiting you in Richmond a few years ago. WE lived in Richmond for 5 years before moving down here. Small world........
