Here are some ideas to go along any Iditarod Study! We done these last year. We had so much fun tracking mushers (she choose 7 of them), she wants to do it again this year!
Make your own dog biscuits.
Make your own Dog Booties:
A rule requires each musher to carry at least 128 booties on the trail.
Make paper snowflakes
Make crystal snowflakes
Make a dog sled from popcicle sticks
Then learn about the anatomy of the Dog Sled
Keep a daily track of the mushers as they reach each point
Make a large map of the Trail from a smaller one
Read the mushers bio and choose a musher to track daily
