For some time now I have had my eye on a Tabernacle Model Kit. I originally found it on ebay several months ago. This will be a PERFECT "family time" activity to do. In the fall we will be doing Mystery of History, Vol. 1 once again (repeat from three years ago). But the price was way too high to pay! It was $90+ just for the model alone. I didn't purchase it. Last week, while searching for other hs materials, I came across this site that advertised a Tabernacle Set that included a model, DVD and guide. My attention was grabbed. I clicked on the link, and I was shocked to see what I found!
I saw the SAME tabernacle model but now a part of a kit with DVD and a guide for 37% discount! WOW, the complete set was for only $59.99.
It is a miniature representation of the Tabernacle in Scriptures. We can easily assemble model of the Tabernacle while studying its fascinating history and detail. When completed, it is a 90:1 scaled model (12x21) w/ a 1" base of the Tabernacle described in the book of Exodus.
This kit also includes a guide that explains the various aspects from the Tabernacle: sanctuary, dwell, entrance, altar, wash, sacrifice, blood, examine the evidence, acknowledge your need, holy place, lampstand, light, bread, incense, curtain, most holy place, priests, covenant, and presence.
AniMan Studios presents this intriguing walk through of the ancient Tabernacle. This meeting place between sinful man and Holy God is seen in illuminating three-dimensional computer-generated detail. You’ll marvel at the stark contrast between the bronze-covered Altar, with its implications of death, and the exquisite gold Lampstand, showing the way to life and forgiveness.
The kit includes: 1 high priest, 3 priests, 1 manna jar, Aaron's budded staff, atonement cover, ten commandments stone, 3 sheep, 8 stands, 1 ark of the covenant, 3 lambs/goats, bread table, laver w/ stand, 2 cows, altar of incense, lampstand of pure gold, 2 breads, altar of burnt offering, tree.
This was such a good deal that I sold some other homeschool materials quickly to build up enough funds in my account to purchase this kit. I am so excited, I cannot wait to see it!!! My daughter, who is 12, is just now showing interest in building things.
