Homeschool Brings FAITH Back Into Education!
Homeschooling by Faith... is believing that God will provide what your children need to learn. Stepping out in Faith, asking Him for a schedule... asking Him what subjects to teach... asking Him what shall my kids learn today...
"What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a rilghteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith." - Philippians 3:8-9 NIV
There are numerous things in our day that scream for our attention. These things ranges from spouse to children, extended family, worldly pleasures, ministry, commitments, etc... The list can go on and on. The fact is that each day you have a number of things you can chase after. Yet, there is only ONE thing that truly really matters... there is only ONE thing that fulfills you... there is only ONE thing that deserves first place. That ONE thing is intimacy with the Lord.
In Philippians 3:8-9, Paul knew about the power of passionately pursuing Christ. Everything was worthless in comparison to knowing Christ intimately. King David also knew the priceless privilege of being in God's presence. He proclaimed, " ps 27:2 AMP
Here are some promises to ponder:
"When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree." - Jeremiah 29:13 The Message
"But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides." - Matthew 6:33 AMP
"You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word]." - Psalm 27:8 AMP
Throughout Scripture, God has stated many times the importance of putting Him first and spending time with Him. He loves you intesely and deepl;y desires to be welcomed in every area of your life. James 4:5 says, "The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love!" AMP
