Oct. 31, 2008 - Testimony and Baptism!!!!
Hey! I'm getting baptized on Sunday so I thought I would post my testimony.

Outside graceful snowflakes fluttered and collected onto the window sill. Inside a three-year-old girl sat cross-legged beside her mother and gazed into her mother’s eyes. The little girl asked two serious questions: How do I become a Christian and how do I get to heaven? The date was February 3, 1997 and the little girl was me. A month before I had learned that my cousin had accepted the Lord. I too desired that in my heart. At opportune moments in my early childhood my Grandma Shirley and my mom would read bible stories and sing worship songs to me. Many of these stories and songs referred to a special place called Heaven. I knew that those who believed in Jesus would go to heaven upon their death. I knew that my grandparents, aunties, uncles, my mom and dad believed in Jesus and would be in Heaven someday. I did not want to be left alone. Responding to my two earlier questions mom stated that I would have to pray a prayer that asked Jesus to come into my life. My little voice replied that I would like to pray that prayer. Together we asked Jesus to live within me.
Not only have I grown physically since that day, but I have also grown spiritually. Now I know more about God and my desire is to become more obedient to his commandments. Today and tomorrow my prayer is to live a life that pleases God. However, when Satan tempts me I know that I can resist him, for as Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I had asked two important questions and within the Bible there was an answer for each. I prayed the prayer that promised my entrance into heaven. Now as a teenager, I will be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. I will obey all of God’s commands and Jesus will be with me always even to the end of the age as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.

Jul. 21, 2008 - Pocahontas Trip
Hey!
Last Wednesday my family, Jessica's family, Shauna's family and my Grandma and Grandpa went to Pocahontas. It is just outside of Jasper by the Hot Springs. We went swimming in the warm pool and then had a huge barbecue with everyone. The next day while some of my cousins went to the hot springs, my mom made my whole family walk up the mountain. We went with Carrie, Darren, Brianna, Carly, Tia, Grandma and of course my entire family. My Grandpa said if I made it to the top of the mountain before him he would pay me $10. Guess what? He didn't even make it a kilometre up it, so i got the money! It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get to the top and about a half an hour to get to the bottom. Then we headed back home and stopped at a really good pizza place. That's about all that happened!

Jul. 2, 2008 - This Week!
Yesterday it was Canada Day. We went to Brianna's Grandma's lake and went tubing. We went so fast that if we weren't holding on with 2 hands we would of flew out. After we left we went to the Rust's house. We stayed there until about 10:30 and then went to watch the fireworks. They were mostly white and red for Canada Day. Tomorrow Kyle and my dad are going fishing to Slave Lake. I don't get how they like fishing. It is really boring. In 13 days Shauna's family, Curt's family, my Grandma, Grandpa and our fmily are going to Pocahontas for one night. I think we are going to go to the Hot Springs and go hiking up the mountain while we are there.
Jun. 16, 2008 - So Excited!!!
Hey Everyone!
Guess what? Tomorrow is my last day of classes for school. I am soooooo excited. Next week I have to go to school in the morning to write 3 exams and then I am done for the year! Chelsea and I made a music video today and she looks HALARIOUS!!!! It is so funny! Yesterday I went to my grandma Shirley's house for lunch. She made my favorite meal, FRIED CHICKEN!!! It was really good. After we ate I went outside and then came back in and held my cousin's kittens while I watched TV. When we left my mom drove us to our store and then she made us walk to my other grandmas. It was very far! They were setting up a gazebo in their backyard!
Jun. 9, 2008 - ~HEY~
Hi!
Today I went to school and had media class. We have to do a project that involves making a music video. It is going to be so neat! There is only 6 days of school left for me. I can't wait till its over. Next year I am going to be homeschooled so I am looking forward to that. Yesterday I had a baseball tournament. We won both of our games. After our games we went to my cousin's Tia's birthday party at the lake. We went tubing even though it was really cold and raining, but it was still lots of fun. Well i have to go!

Jun. 6, 2008 - Hey
Today I went to school for only half the day because they were having FITS (fun in the sun) Day in the afternoon. They were bringing in a hyptonist,so I didn't want to stay and see that. Yesterday I had a choir concert and my brother, Kyle had his grade 8 grad. Our concert was terrible!!!! This weekend we have a baseball tournament. My games are on Sunday. After our games we are going to go to the lake for Tia's birthday party. I can't wait to go swimming and tubing!
May. 30, 2008 - Today
Hey Everyone!!!
Today I am going to my grandma's house. Shauna's kids are going to be there and Jessica's might be there too! Brianna and I have a playoff basketball game tonight. I hope we do pretty good. Last week I went to YC and saw a whole bunch of bands like Hawk Nelson, Tim Hughes, Vicky Beeching, Pillar, Nevertheless, Leeland, KJ52 and Thousand Foot Krutch I would have to say that Tim Hughes was my favorite! There was also a terriffic speaker named Reggie Dabbs. He was halarious. I hope he comes back to YC next year. Tomorrow I am going to the parade for Farmer's Day. I only go for all of the delicious candy they hand out! Well I have to go because we are going to Grandma's house pretty soon!
