Blogging Against My Will

"Uber" is a word. A real word. In German. Meaning: Super. Etc.
My sister is behind me in the kitchen wipping up the instant pudding I gave her for christmas. Pretty good gift, no? I wish I got instant pudding . . . instead I got towels. I am completely serious. TOWELS. But I'm not complaining. "I like them" (Nacho). I just realized that Mrs. D. got me an uber cool towel and wash cloth for christmas, I LOVE them! But my aunt also got me towels, the kind you put in a guest bathroom to look fancy. . . I'm afraid to use them.
Yesterday I went to Wal-mart for my lovely mother and got "Dancing with the Stars - Cardio Workout." My sisters and I just finished huffing and puffing to keep up with the quicklified moves of Maks, Ashley, and Kym. Boy are they difficult!! (No laughing please)
They finally took "F Minus" out of the comics in the paper. What an awful comic strip!! half the time we looked at each other in puzzled horror. What was it they were trying to say?! Did it mean anything at all or was it just some sort of sick joke that attempted to make us laugh while we went through the rest of our lives in utter confusion. Our favorites comics include "Pearls Before Swine", "Get Fuzzy", "Pickles", and the rest depend on the day we read them and how we feel at the moment, as well as the content the spazy writers jotted into the strip. But I think Darby Conley (Get Fuzzy) gives the dog (Satchel) the best faces ever. Uber good.
Let's see . . . that's about four "Uber's" in a post. (Now five). Not bad!
See ya! `KATalina

What kind of instant pudding do you like??? I want to get you something uber cool next year. I have green pistachio pudding in my cupboard right now. If I save it for next Christmas will it be stale? Do you like eggplants?

I'm sorry we gave you cookies instead of something uber. I'm thinking towels are more uber than cookies, cuz you didn't even mention the cookies. :) Towels are really very good to have. As you get older you will begin to appreciate function as well as uber. I'm really sorry that we haven't gotten to see you much this break. Ben & I are going to "Riverdance" tonight in Sac. I'm sooo excited. It's my heritage you know! Enjoy the rest of your free time.
Blessings, Mrs.H

I absolutely refuse to use that word that starts with a "U" and ends with an "R". I may have German blood, but I am a United Statesian through and through.
Towels aren't so bad. Just think of all the things you can wash/dry/cover/clean/hit/I can't think of anything else.
Pearls is the best comic strip ever!! Not a single other strip can take its place. Get Fuzzy runs a close second though.

Kat,
Personally, my favorite was when the comic strips were all mixed up and rat was babysitting for Baby Blues and everyone (almost everyone) was getting invited to Dagwood's party.
Hope you have fun tonight being social with the CBU peeps. Play the hat game.
