Blogging Against My Will

There is a Time for Everything

Now is the time to ask yourselves some questions. Questions like, "why are cats so evil?" and "what is the difference between Chinese food and Japanese food?".  You might answer the first question with "but cats aren't evil" Oh no my friend!! There is where you are wrong! Cats ARE evil and you only think they aren't because they make you worship them. They seduce you into giving them everything they could possibly want in the way of comfort and then let you pet and/or play with them for a moment to keep the goods coming. I know. I just spent a weekend housesitting and two cats resided in the home. Luckily I was with other girls who adore the creatures and kept them off me while I played with the lovable and adoring dog.  Now you might be confused by the second question. Where did it come from? Why does it matter? What IS the difference? If you are knowledgable in the way of exotic food you might know the differences, you would also know what they were if you were from either location. As I am neither asian nor food-freak I cannot know. The knowledge will never be mine and I will live in hopeless darkness forever.

Let us ask another question of you: "Why do we think it is so fun to feed fish?". Seriously! We go to a pond at a park and toss the greedy things something edible and watch them bob and jerk to be the first to swallow whole something water-logged and probably stale. Or we buy fish and tanks and give them gaudy decor they will never thank us for. We also buy those hideous smelling fish food flakes and pinch it into the water. Watching to make sure that everyone gets their fair share and no fish is left behind. Mesmorized by the sucking of their delicate lips, we stare at them and pucker back - what a fool we make of ourselves in front of the fish tank.

There is time to ask yet one more question that has haunted me for a very long time. "Why did God create mosquitoes?" I have no answer for that.  . . . really, I'm speechless . . .  I just lift my eyes to heaven and raise my hands in complete and utter helplessness and let my face go into an expression I like to call "stupified times ten". Why do you think God let mosquitoes out after the flood?

I can't answer your question about mosquitos, but Bonnie found this quote on her tea bag tag this morning. "Anything too stupid to be said is sung." Voltaire 1694 - 1778
Whatcha think of that?
We'll be seeing you in 3 days!

I think the person who took that quote seriously invented musical comedies.

Vacationers were created to feed mosquitoes. One of our cats like people, the other two are indifferent or worse, but they all like rodents, so we put up with them. Chinese food is great, stay away from that other stuff.

Supposedly mosquitoes are a crucial part of the food chain, I don't believe them...

I don't think I dare mention that is is only the female mosquitoes that are the ones we hate for their voracious appetites, while the males are quite friendly. There are parallels that could be drawn, but I would never mention that...

Do you like sushi? I have known you for years, and still am fuzzy on that subject. I know you like Chinese!

As for what I am doing with my post graduation existence, that will be the topic of a blog post. I will get to it one of these days. It seems that most people are asking me this question...

Later,

BFH

I like cats...

Lol, I enjoyed your post! :-)

Homeschool college is going ok, though it kind of came to a screeching halt when I got sick. I'm hoping to start back up again soon though.

How is college going for you? What exactly are you studying?

Well, have a great day!

Glad to hear you are home safely, although I still have grave doubts about your driving skills.

I hope you have fun with your theater stuff and don't get too awfully burnt out.

"Wook, I'm woad kill!"

I just have to say that Monday Night is just not the same without you. It was eerily quiet. Maybe the fact that Dalton didn't show up had something to do with that too.
