Is that a valid course? We have seen our lab/golden retriever mix from teeny-tiny puppyhood to almost a full year, and now we have acquired two of the cutest Bassett Hound puppies ever. They are not quite as young as Hank was when we got him, but they are still quite young. Mac turned 4 months last week, and Drover turned 3 months today. So, we have learned all about puppy nutrition, vaccines, deworming and sanitation. Oh, and getting them all the proper exercise too. That should all count for something, right? I mean, we spend countless hours on all of this, it HAS to count for SOMETHING.
Here are some pictures of the dc, and of the puppies. The first picture is actually of Mary with her new doll Samantha (with all of her other beautiful dolls too), which she pretty much figured she wasn't going to get, until her aunt/godmother surprised her with it today, via UPS. Her eyes lit up so much! I wish I had the camera at that point. She still plays with her dolls so much, having tea parties and picnics with them. She hopes to one day pass them on to a daughter, or if the Lord does not bless her with one, then possibly a niece, or some other little girl that she might know, who would love them and appreciate them as much as she does.

This next one is Micky, resting with the puppies, after a hard round of playing. He was actually asleep, up until I took the picture. They were so sweet together!

And here are the puppies, being, well, puppies. They were pooped! They stayed there for quite a long time, having sweet little puppy dreams, given the little noises and movements they were making.

Well, thank you for stopping by and sharing in our goings on in our home/homeschool. Have a blessed day! |
