Praise the Lord for His goodness in bringing my son safely through his hernia surgery. The procedure went very well, and just about twenty-four hours later, he is up and about, playing with his brother and sister as if nothing happened. God has taken wonderful care of all of us!
My son was such a brave little trooper! Though he was nervous, he faced the process with determination, and came through beautifully. As his mommy, I was a bit anxious over the weekend as I anticipated Monday morning, but when the time came to head to the hospital, the anxiety fell away, and God replaced it with an overwhelming peace. My little boy was in His hands, and I had no reason to worry. And God proved Himself so very faithful.
Thanks to all of you who shared your prayers and encouragement with us at this time. We felt the power of your prayer and greatly appreciate all the encouragment. Praise God for His goodness, and for the kindness of His people.

Isn't that cool how God gives you the grace when you need it? I've learned that He won't always give it to you ahead of time. That's where we have to just trust Him with it if we can. But when it comes down to the wire, He is so cool.
I used to have problems with claustrophobia, and needed a medical procedure done in a "tube." As the moment arrived, I still couldn't see how I wasn't going to go into a panic when I was supposed to lay perfectly still...but when I lay down and was moving into the tube is when the supernatural peace came. It's like I wasn't really in this paper towel tube for 45 minutes unable to even flinch. I think He has a little bit of a sense of humor and might have been messing with me? Nothing quite like a cliff hanger! It's funny, I don't even have claustrophia anymore....edit: claustrophobia :-)
I'm so glad to hear how well your fellow is doing! These kids sure bounce back well, don't they?
