Bethanyrae, a blogging friend whose regular comments have added much insight to many of my recent posts, has named me for a Thinking Blogger Award. Bethanyrae is very sweet to have nominated me, though I'm not exactly sure why she did. But, if my ramblings cause someone else to think I'm a thinker, who am I to argue?
So, now that I have been nominated, it is my duty and privilege to name 5 other bloggers for the same honor.
Pamela Spurling's Welcome Home Blog has long been a source of encouragement and godly wisdom to me. In her honest, down-to-earth style, Pamela shares observations and insights on life as a Christian woman that I have found very uplifting. She has caused me to stop and think about certain issues on more than one occasion.
Amy's Humble Musings is written by a woman of tremendous wisdom and insight. She understands people, and her posts are always timely and relevant. She also takes great pride in the role of wife and mother, which shows clearly in the way she writes of those roles. Though she is at present under the weather with pregnancy-related illness, I trust Amy will return when she is feeling better, again sharing the wonderful gems she is becoming well-known for.
Homeliving Helper, written by Lady Lydia, is an oasis in the desert of our feministic culture. Lady Lydia's old-fashioned values and common sense are inspirational. She is a true lady in every sense of the word, and she challenges her readers to be the same.
Maine Mommy Deb is a lady I actually know in real life. She doesn't post often, but when she does, it is worth reading. I have learned a lot about homeschooling and other things in life from her.
Carmon at Buried Treasure Books is actually someone even more passionate about books than I am. Anyone who knows me understands how fantastic a feat that is. Not only does she share my love for good books, but she writes from a thoroughly Biblical perspective, which I can't help but appreciate.
So there you are--my five nominees for the Thinking Blogger Award. Take a few minutes and visit them; I guarantee they will make you think as well.
