Everybody's Doing It!
Posted in Just for Fun
With a title like that, you're probably wondering where in the world I am going with this post. I'll explain. My buddy, Maggieraye got a Site Meter. She likes hers so much, she blogged about it. It was fun for me to see how many hits she has been getting. So when I did an overhaul to my own blog, I decided a Site Meter was a must, because I wanted to see how many visits I was getting. I can find out other stats as well, like where the visitor is from, what page they entered on, and how long they stayed. It is a bit addictive.
MelM also had a post a few days ago about her Site Meter. After reading Maggieraye's post, SteveWalden posted about how to increase traffic to your blog. (He had some really great ideas.) It seems to be a craze: blog about your sitemeter. So, I thought, "why not?"

How do you do it? I sometimes wonder if I am blessing others with my post, since I don't really want to just talk to myself, I want to blog about my mistakes or things I am learning to help someone else. So, how do you do it? Please come visit my blog, or email me, and let me know. Thanks.

Lady, you are insane! Oh, yeh... I forgot you're my friend and that is a prerequist. If you'd known where this was all going to lead, would you have prayed so hard for a friend? Hhmm, bet that makes you stop and think, huh?
Well, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....

I visit my own site so often (after a post to make sure it looks right, then after the editing I did to make it look right, plus going to my site to click on all the friends I have). I would have like a thousand hits, but 999 would be from me! LOL!! But I agree it would be nice to know how many people I am blessing.
