Homeschool Mom and Aunt
• Sep. 8, 2007 - Thankful
| It's a chilly Saturday morning in SD and I was slow to get out of bed. I was a little stressed last night and my husband would say "a lot grumpy." I feel like I'm being pulled in too many directions. As I was reading another blog this morning about her scheduling ideas for the next week, it was just a great reminder to be thankful. Thankful that we can schedule "school" however we need to. Thankful for a great husband and kids. Thankful ultimately that God saved me and is taking care of everything (if I let Him). This week as I'm being pulled in every which way I need to remember to take a deep breath, skip a subject or two and give my children a break, and even say "no" if necessary. The beauty of the homeschooling is following the schedule that's best for us, not everyone else. As I follow God's leading he'll get me through the things He has for me to do. |

I live in Washington state. We are not allowed to homeschool anyone other than our own children. I live two doors from my nieces and it is so hard to watch them get on the school bus every day. You are blessed to be able to homeschool your nieces. :)
