Thankful Thursday #5 ~ Breakin Out The List :-)
Posted in Thankful Thursdays

This week there are quite a few things to be thankful for:
1. My hubby's new schedule rocks! He is home by 2:30 p.m. everyday and then we choose a project each day to work on together (house or yard related) and then the rest of the evening is family time.
2. My wonderful friend Melody who makes me hysterically laugh, has such incredible creativity oozing out of her, and inspires me to dig into my creative juices that have been stagnant for far too long.We really "get" one another, and that is such a rare find.
3. For the incredible group of homeschool Moms that are going to have Moms' Night Out tomorrow evening. No kiddos, no hubbies (although we love them dearly); just us Moms letting our hair down and enjoying one another's company. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for this wonderful group that He has put together, for such a time as this :-)
4. For the joy I see on my daughter's face each day, and the new friends she has been blessed with.
5. For those "chill bump" moments that have happened this week. Ya know the kind where the Lord lays something on your heart and you share it with someone and they say, "How did you know?" It is that charge you get when you are hooked up to the flow of the Holy Spirit and everything beautifully falls into place. People are healed, lives touched and tears of joy stream . . . man, it is so humbling yet life-giving. To God be the Glory!
6. For the simple things too: a gentle touch, a whisper of sweet-nothings, the smell of fresh cut flowers, a good book that made me laugh, a friend calling just to say she was thinking about me, and my husband's relationship with the Lord - always endearing and touching, and the beauty of my marriage. I could go on and on here. God has been so very good to us, and I am thankful for everything He has provided. I stand in awe of His grace and goodness.
7. Oh and I cannot forget the Lord healing me this week from the terrible virus that kept me down for awhile, and keeping my hubby and dd from catching it. THANK YOU LORD!
