Good day!  I am writing today to ask for your help in reaching homeschoolers to let them know about a upcoming educational opportunity.

Slim Goodbody, the costumed “health crusader” who appeared for years on Captain Kangaroo and PBS, will be performing in ....

• Lexington, KY on 03/26/07 at the Singletary Center for the Arts at 10 am.
• Louisville, KY on 03/27/07 at the Memorial Auditorium at 10 am.

Slim will be presenting “Bodyology”, a show for children in grades K-4. Correlated to state health education standards, Bodyology uses music, movement, fanciful props, and a large rear screen projection unit to lead youngsters on an incredible journey within.  It provides an opportunity for audiences to understand how their bodies work, and inspires them to be the best they can be.  I have attached a pdf with more information.

Here are a couple of reviews of Bodyology by homeschoolers:

            It's a great field trip for those with younger children.  Probably appropriate for those up to around 12 years old.  If the kids are much older than that, it may seem a little too 'childish', but to be honest, I caught myself humming a few of his tunes on the way home myself! :) Btw, I booked my tickets on-line at their web site and they sent us some information ahead of time and had our name on a list when we got there. Very easy to do.

            We LOVED the show!!  I took my 8 year old son and my 12 year old son (even though the program is recommended for grades K-4).  The 12 year old enjoyed it as much as my 8 year old.  The show held our attention well.  It was entertaining and educational at the same time.  It's one of the best productions we have seen in a while. Thanks for making such a quality show available to homeschooling families.
