Dear Friends,

Below is NEW information from the Murray Minister's group,  involving  volunteering/helping/showing up/ etc. at the Woodmen of the World Campground.  Because of the  overwhelming response all efforts need to be  coordinated for the best of the survivors, the facility, and those  helping.

Michael Pickens (contact info below) will be coordinating these  efforts at this point and developing schedules/forms to be used for  the next few months in conjunction with the WOW staff/volunteers.

General Info:  The survivors CANNOT move into homes or they lose  all government/red cross/etc. assistance.

WOW facility maintenance is covered at this point by the WOW staff.

WHAT IS NEEDED:

Kitchen Help to prepare/serve 3 meals per day - 7 days a week (a  coordinator is on site)

Gatekeeper/Security volunteers are needed 24 hrs/day - 7 days a week

Computer Support (help survivors enter data) needed 7 am - 9 pm - 7  days a week

First Aid Assistants needed - 7 am - 9 pm - 7 days a week

Transportation and/or vehicle use for daily runs to Wal-Mar/Dollar  Store/etc.

Tutoring - 3pm - 9 pm - Monday - Friday

Phone Answerers (2 lines) - 7 am - 9 pm  - 7 days a week

Night/Weekend Activities - Everything from books to board games to  movies to yard games to basketball to Frisbee to softball/baseball  to yard soccer to ??

AGAIN - let me stress - you cannot just show up now - they are  having to coordinate ALL activities but want everyone who wants to come to be able to in an orderly fashion.
