October activity - LBL campout! 2005 October 22, 23

Join us at Hillman Ferry Campground at Land Between the Lakes for an overnight family camping trip!

Saturday afternoon, we will begin arriving and setting up. Try to get there by 4:00 so you can be set up and relaxing before sunset. Moms, please don't be intimidated if Dad can't join you! We can help you set up and enjoy a great outdoor adventure with your children!

Saturday evening will be a cookout and campfire fun. Each family is responsible for their own provisions, but families are welcome to join together for a potluck.

Sunday morning, enjoy the crisp morning air and breakfast, then gather with your instruments and Bibles! We will have a time of worship together. Musicians are welcome to lead us in songs, and fathers are encouraged to share scriptures and relevant lessons as the Holy Spirit leads.

General camping information is available at http://www.lbl.org/RatesAndHours.html. Our plan is to get the group backcountry camping permit. This way, you only need to pay for your own campsite.
