7. Coming up on @home e-vents
Author, speaker, and homeschool mother Zan Tyler knows that homeschooling is more like running a 26-mile marathon than a 100-yard dash. On Tuesday, August 18, at 9:00 p.m. (ET), learn valuable strategies from Zan for building stamina, confidence, and vision that will help you persevere in the homeschooling “marathon.” Zan encourages you to consider the long-term goals of homeschooling, and breaks down the home education process into smaller “do-able” segments.
If you have questions about home education in the state of Georgia, then join HSLDA Senior Counsel Dewitt Black on Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. (ET) to get the answers! Dee will clarify what information must be maintained and reported to public school officials and will address particular trouble spots in the Peach State. You will also have the opportunity to ask Dee your questions regarding homeschooling in Georgia.
Discover more help, encouragement, and advice from HSLDA’s Early Years coordinator Vicki Bentley on Wednesday, August 19, at 9:00 p.m. (ET). You’ll hear ideas for organizing your homeschool, in addition to practical tips for achieving unity, cooperation, and balance in your home, from an experienced mom of 17 homeschooled students—seven school-aged children at a time!
Get helpful advice and encouragement for your home education in this week’s line up!
