Hands-On Insect Night
@ The Living Arts & Science Center's
September Discovery Night
Thursday, September 3rd 6-8pm
Join us for a fun, hand-on insect program with guest entomologist, nature photographer, and owner of All-Rite Pest Control, Tom Myers! Hold or pet a live tarantula, watch cockroaches on the run, and see all sorts of exotic insect species! We'll be comparing insects of the rain forest with those found right here in our state. Also during Discovery Night, create a fun bug keeper so you can study insects you find before releasing them back into their natural habitat!

The Living Arts & Science Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides creative and unique opportunities for exploration and education in the arts and sciences. Art galleries, a science gallery, and arts and science classes and workshops are provided year-round for children and adults of all ages. In addition, the Living Arts and Science Center partners with community agencies and organizations to provide free hands-on arts activities at community events and programs and classes for special needs and at-risk students.
