Watercolors

We paint two nights a week. Monday and Friday.
Since we are new to this, I started simple.
This is what I bought.
   
We only spend about fifteen minutes painting.
    
It took me a little longer to paint this.  I found it very relaxing!
I am still in the process of tracking down good painting books from the library.
It makes no difference to me if we are not very good at it...YET!
 I just want us all to experience it and enjoy it.

Have you been to the website of www.homeschoolblogger.com/artharmonymom. She talks a lot about doing art and music for our kids. If you haven't met her yet, I'm sure you'd like to.

You painting looks nice. Maybe sometime I should blog about some of the simple things I've learned about how to teach watercolor to kids. I haven't seen any thing like it in books.
