A Makeover!

Posted in Holidays

You know what this is?
It's an annoying, obnoxious, and loud
Animated Talking/Singing Christmas Tree!
I will spare you the photos of me dismantling this!
Here is the new improved:

Didn't cost me nothin'!
I made these shell ornaments when I was pregnant with my son, 10 years ago.
Thank you for the lovely tree, my dear, wonderful mom-in-law.
(I think she was just trying to get rid of it!)
Thank you  for those beautiful amber gold lights,  dear oldest daughter.
(Unused orange Halloween lights!)

How appropriate! You are a talented lady...And thanks for your opinion on the picture. We are going to use "B", despite Grace's puffy, red face.

We also were the proud owners of one of those annoying singing trees. But I don't know what ever did happen to the thing. Love what you did with yours.

What pretty ornaments that you made. My daughter has some like that, except she had to buy hers!

That was funny! And I agree. Any of those "talking" things like trees and fish are annoying after the first time you hear it.
The shells are beautiful!

Wonderful! You're so artistic. I would prefer the shells any day to a talking tree.
Blessings to you dear friend, Mama Karen

Love the shell ornaments--I used to hang sand dollars that we had found on an island near us---shells are so awesome--I have them around the house this year, but not many are on my tree ;-)

This year, I made seashell ornaments for my tree. sand dollars, star fish, and many others. They are so pretty, and they aren't $10 an ornament. I have some red and silver balls on the tree as well, but we went simple this year. Angel still on the top, I just can't bear to part with her.

It's amazing how pretty those seashells look on the tree.

How did you get the background of seashells on your blog? I'd love to learn to do that.

Great idea! Aren't you smart! And thrifty too! Your shell tree is a HUGE improvement over that talking one!
