Our First Story!

Fat Cat, Fat Rat
I wanted to wait until my son's fifth birthday before teaching him phonics.
Now, five weeks later he is reading his first story and he is proud!

Mar. 13, 2008 - AWESOME!!!

Posted by LadyPoet33

I am doing the happy dance that my last baby (7yos) is now on his 10th lesson in the McGuffy reader! I am so happy. Each day he grabs his book and asks me to read. He says "I love reading!". I am so glad, because I worried about him, he is my child that read the latest.

But he loves it! And that is more important than how early he learns.
