Things are sunny on this side of Florida. Is it sunny over there? We've been spending lots of our days outside. Wanna meet up in Plant City and pick strawberries? Yea? :)

Cooking is so much fun, and what a wonderful way to draw your family together.

I am just stopping in to say hello. Your site looks lovely.

Be back soon,
Janelle

That was one happy little brother, enjoying the cooking of his sister!!! How fun. We have been sewing that past two days. I will have to get my pictures posted this weekend.

We were given Kit's cookbook for Christmas and we love it! Grace and I are determined to make almost every recipe before next Christmas. Don't you love how it is so easy for them to follow? I'll have to see if Samantha's is at our library when we get through Kit's.
Happy weekend, my friend.

Teaching the Trivium

How can you give your children the tools they need to teach themselves? Long ago students were first taught how to learn. Today, students are taught an encyclopedia of subjects – trivia – but they are not taught the basic skills of learning: to discover, to reason, and to apply.
