I am teaching a "Meet the Masters" class next year and I think this idea would be a wonderful addition to my little curriculum. :) You are an amazing teacher Keri. You kids look like they are having a blast too. :)
This is great. I have often wondered about the books you showed now I think I will have to get some of them. Thanks, I will definately look through your whole blog over and over again.

This looks great!! Where do you get all the 4 x 6 photos so that each child has their own copy? Do you take a digital photo of each page in the book and print it??
Thank you for such a simple yet wonderful idea! I definitely want to find a copy of these books!! And I would also be interested in hearing how you get the 4"x6".
I like those books, too! I've not used them very much but found them very interesting when I did.
I just read your bio and it said you have a grandchild. For some reason, I picture you as being in your 30's with long blonde hair. (It must be all the beach pictures.) Anyways, I just thought it was funny how we get things in our heads. Of course, I guess you could still have a grandchild and be in your 30's. :)
I can never seem to fit in as much artist study as I'd like. But this looks do-able.
I'll have to check and see if my library has that series. I don't think I've seen them before.
And I love the album idea...where do you get your 4x6's?
Thanks for sharing this!
I love this post! Why? It's so practical and shows just how easy and short artist study can be! Thanks for the tip on the books. I've seen those titles but never the covers.
And like other commenters, I'd like to know about your 4x6 prints. Do you copy those from the printer? Make photos? Does the child choose one from each artist or each and every painting you study?
Thank you for sharing your idea! That is a simple time saving manageable one I can handle and fits into the Charlotte Mason methods I try to follow without taking too much of my time to find pictures to study. I will have to get those little books. I too love the album idea.
